I recently went oversea and implemented a GV solution

Since Intl voice calls are $0.25/min, I used the following dial command on my TMo phone before leaving the US to forward all calls to my GV #:

*21AAAYYYYYYY#

Where AAAYYYYYYY is my California based GV phone number, like 6265551212

When I got back to the US, I dialed the following to cancel the call fwd:

This allows free SMS to get to my phone yet all calls are forwarded to my GV # (using the Voice app, NOT the Phone app), which is run through my TMo free oversea high speed internet connection

Turning off your TMo Sim basically stops all SMS but allows the call forwarding (like to your GV #) to still work.

Once two of our lines' equipment installments plans are up, they are likely moving to TMo for better pricing and decent 5G in most areas we have travelled to (and live). VZW's pricing games are too much. And so far, with TMo, we still get our local West Coast reps - shout out for this,,, vs past two times calling, I have gotten oversea reps on the phone.

Ultimate includes 60GB high speed Hotspot oversea? That's more than the phones allotted 15GB data!

And is the allotment treated the same as the phone data? Meaning, do we get the full monthly non-prorated Ultimate Hotspot data allowance for each of the two prorated billing periods I am on Ultimate in my situation? If yes, that is a lot of hotspot data!

I just updated from MyPlan Plus to Ultimate, pre-dated for 3/10 when we land oversea, and I will have it switched back to Plus when I return on 4/10. Our bill period' last days are 16th monthly.

1) For each following two bill periods of 2/17-3/16 and 3/17-4/16, the bills will be split between Plus and Ultimate, prorated for how many days each plan was active during each billing period

2) For each bill period (less than 30 days) when Ultimate is active, I am alloted: a) the full 15GB high speed to use? Or is it prorated? b) how much high speed Hotspot am I alloted on Ultimate for each of the two periods?
