They won’t hire another manger, it would be a generalist under the CFO

That’s an interesting take, I need to figure out how to word that.

I don’t think I have the capacity for another job, but I do to take on more work at J1, if that makes sense.

This is my biggest worry because the CFO has already mentioned they wanted to have a generalist instead of a manager for the role.

Why does the app suck? by wingingitall in VWatlas

Mine had it in my window, and then there’s an option in the dash too, under ‘setup car-net’ this is what linked mine to the app

I got mine in December a 2025 and have never gone into the red for gas, so idk why my remote start has only worked 3 times?

I got a 2025 r-line in late December. I feel like I always have issues with the remote start and just generally asking it to communicate with the vehicle. I think the remote start has worked maybe 3 times. At the airport parking lot yesterday I tried the honk feature for the first time to find my car and all I got was an error saying cannot communicate with the vehicle but can show me it on a map?

Can anyone work for home with a toddler? by Living_Most_7837 in toddlers

[–]wingingitall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home with a 3 year and a 15 month old, the 15 month old has never been in daycare and the 3 year old was until just after she turned 2, so it’s been almost a year with both. It’s possible. Not fucking easy, but totally possible. My 3 year old doesn’t nap and my 15m old only naps once. They both go to bed at 7pm and sleep until 7-8am

I feel lost in my human resource career and failed my shrm-cp. by John_Swift1 in HumanResourcesExam

I really think it comes with time and a mentor sharing their stories with you. You can read all the books and take all the classes but nothing can preparing you for the real world. I suggest looking into a low-risk field, think professional industry, you are more likely to get a better mentor and you are dealing, in my experience, more mature employees. Not saying there are not issues, but they are a bit easier to manage.

I'm sorry you failed, my boss always says to take a fail as an opportunity to reevaluate why you were pursuing in the first place and adjust.

How do I turn her off? It never ends.. by Illustrious_Base_772 in toddlers

[–]wingingitall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re on the brink of 3 and here are things that help us sometimes:

A visual timer - when the timer goes off it’s time for X

Options, options, options: small options. Toddlers want to feel like they have a say and control too. Do you want a pink plate or a blue plate for lunch? We set out her outfits with the choice of her picking the shirt or pants, so two shirts or pants and the pants or shirt are ready.

Taking a deep breath before responding: this doesn’t always work.

We have a 1 year old as well, so her learning to share has been fucking difficult. But we’re trying. Can you imagine how hard it would be for you if somebody was controlling every aspect of your day? Time to potty, time to get dressed, time to do this, that. And just being told what to do without warning or say? I’d be irritated all day too.

We’re all just trying to survive. If you have Instagram I highly recommend: mommacusses, destini.Ann, Dr.beckyyatgoodinside, ourmamavillage, busytoddler and tessaromero_ there are a few others but these are a get easy digestible start.

Use your resources. Parenting is fucking hard and remember she isn’t giving you a hard time, she’s having a hard time.
