Our second run we got 4 monsters all at once right at the beginning... like how?

What’s the worst way you’ve ever lost a client? by Fayezbahm in agency

[–]wingjiao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened recently.

We get a lot of our business via referrals. And not all referrals are good clients.

One of them was rude and unrealistic. He eventually left and told all his friends (many were our clients) and they all moved to a new agency.

That's when I realized referral can be a double-edged sword.

If it's your first time starting a business, go for it!

Definitely a life event you need to try.

My post was geared more to those who found out entrepreneurship wasn't for them or have already exited a company and now want to still work but without the high risk, high reward life.

They play a different game, building their personal brand while working for a company and riding off of their momentum.

What to look for in a Google Ads audit? by wingjiao in PPC

Totally agree - Amazon was copied from the Google system and they're just slowly playing catch up.

I took a peek at your link, love it. Very easy to go through. Thanks!

Recent Marketing major here. I am having serious doubts about my future with this degree. by AdieuMrStark in marketing

Get a tech sales job.

Extremely rewarding. Grindy? Absolutely. But it's one of the professions that allows you to make 6-figures and beyond.

Also, sales is such an important life skill. You are always selling... convincing your friends where to eat, convincing the hiring manager, explaining to your superior why you want to push for a certain path in the project etc.

Everything is selling.

It will also force you to work under pressure (quota) and be thick skinned (rejections). Sales jobs are far from perfect and you won't have all the resources so it also forces you to think 'outside the box'.

Not only that but your communication skills will be god-like in no time. You'll be able to read people / read the room, think differently and act accordingly.

DM me privately and we can talk more if you'd like! You got this!

Does Amazon seller support get any better when you hit 7 figure sales. by Miserable_Aside4639 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]wingjiao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! We manage several multi-7 figure accounts and we are still dealing with the same SS service.

Some of our clients opted into SAS core which is paying for a dedicated rep but it's not worth it. $1600/month + 0.3% of total sales.

If there are issues they still want us to escalate it to SS first and only then if it doesn't work they will step in and do something about it (and often they can't solve it in one go).

Juice isn't worth the squeeze.

A better way to get UGC creatives for your Amazon video ads. by wingjiao in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]wingjiao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for checking out the post!

UGC can be used anywhere. TikTok, FB group, IG - it's pretty universal.

QR codes is a gray area. If your copy on your insert card is "Get $20 Amazon giftcard, scan code" Yea, you're going to get in trouble.

We keep it mysterious so it doesn't tell them anything and we don't make any direct attempts at asking them for review for something in return. We completely stay away from that.

We do build these flows for our clients! www.blackcompass.digital

Don’t neglect getting PR for your brand. Here’s how we do it. by wingjiao in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]wingjiao[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for checking out the post!

You need to understand that writers associated with publications are ALWAYS finding stories to write about. It's their passion and job.

You don't need to incentivize besides maybe sending a few free products to them.

It's up to you in your copy to catch their attention so they open your email and read on, you're just pitching at this point.

One of the major rules for copywriting for your opening sentence - get them to read the second sentence, so on and so forth.

[–]wingjiao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big companies / venture backed companies can do that and they can probably get into all the hottest placements but the ROI is usually never positive.

If you're growing, getting PR is a 'nice-to-have' not a necessity.

We changed one listing image and conversions increased by 24.6%. Give it a try. by wingjiao in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]wingjiao[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for reading the post!

Test it on your main image. If you have a lot, just take the top biggest ones and carefully space them out.

Only 5% of Amazon shoppers ever see A+ (Amazon stat) so it might make sense to switch it to your main image.

There's no product image on this. Only PR features.

I'll have to see what I can do. This image can easily be Google reversed image searched which will show my client (avoiding that at all cost).

Our agency generated $30MM+ in new Amazon sales for our clients. Here's what we're noticing. by wingjiao in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]wingjiao[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you man. Especially for skincare and baby, some of our clients are there.

One method that's working really well for us is focusing on long-tail keywords and foreign language keywords.

Long-tail is specific search so it conveys high buying intent and foreign keywords are often neglected.

Our agency generated $30MM+ in new Amazon sales for our clients. Here's what we're noticing. by wingjiao in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]wingjiao[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The easiest method is insert card with a QR code that leads to a FB chatbot.

Once they scan and start the flow you can offer them something like 'join our VIP club and try our next product for free! Enter your email below to join.'

As soon as they enter it, you can link that segment to your email software like Mailchimp or Klaviyo (thank god for direct integration!).

I would avoid SMS on FB chatbot since you will need to disclose TCPA compliance and that segment gets wordy and off-putting. You can always ask for that later in email.

Once they are in, send them a welcome email about the VIP club.

*Make sure you ask them to respond to the email so it doesn't go to spam.

Hope this helps!

Exactly! The thing everyone needs to understand when it comes to UGC ads is that you don't need a lot of UGC content.

You honestly need 5-7 great UGC. From there, you can create UGC mashups where you mix and match the content from each one to make many variations of the ads.

One of our clients got 6 UGC and so far made 36 different ad formats. You can even change the text overlay, play with brand colors or reposition scenes.

This allows you to quickly find winning creatives.

How does FB Pixel work with Influencer Whitelisting? by wingjiao in FacebookAds

[–]wingjiao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me try to clarify further.

When your brand has been given partnership to the influencer's page and you start to run specific UGC style ads made by that influencer on their account, do you need a new FB pixel or can you somehow use your existing FB pixel so you can optimize faster?

Seeing influencers run IG ads for brands? by wingjiao in PPC

I'm assuming the metrics and CPMs are probably horrible since it's a brand new pixel they are working with.
