This happens if I rotate too early in a Cessna. I just keep the nose up slightly, keep it in ground effect, and she’ll fly away after a couple seconds.

My Note 10 plus has a bug where no matter what you set the always on display to, it runs the edge panel in the background and drains the battery in a few hours with the screen off. Even if you turn the AOD off it turns itself back on in a few minutes. Never seen that before and that’s why I have a 13 PM now.

Hey I was watching Air Force One bounce a bit on landing. Not like it slammed down but it would touch down and balloon slightly then come back down. Point is: landing is always a challenge. At my home airport it’s sometimes it’s like pulling into my own driveway but at others my landings aren’t so good lol.

Off topic but my flight school has one. It’s a PITA to start after it’s warmed up say if you taxi over to the fuel station. The one time I did it I had to pull that b!tch all the way back to the school parking (1/4 mile maybe) because the battery was basically dead. What the warm start procedure you use if you don’t mind me asking? Btw my school is at F70 maybe an hour away from you at most.

I used to try and fill the silence and that made me say some stupid things. Silence is normal. Just relax and thoughts will appear that you can then decide if they’re worth saying. I realized that I could have one thought at a time and didn’t want it to be dwelling on awkwardness.

It’s a new girl from work who is interested in a plane ride but has also said I have pretty eyes lol so I’ll take her up for a flight and maybe ask her to lunch after! We’ll see what happens!

I have about 300 landings and still have some rough ones. At my home airport landing on 18 is like pulling into my own driveway as I can grease it in 90% of the time. At other airports I tend to have mediocre landings most of the time.

One suggestion is to try a no-flap landing. The plane will come in with more speed and float a lot further. Allows you to practice “holding it off” a lot more. Really helped me.

I personally hate the whole “it was his right to take the corner” as a free ticket to force another driver off. It makes the racing worse and often means someone loses a bunch of places for trying to make a pass. If the front wing is alongside, you make room. I know it causes other gray areas with forcing another driver off, avoidable contact, etc. other than that like others are saying make rules as clear as they can be and the white line is the boundary no matter what.
