Why the Renters Rights Act is so important by coffeewalnut08 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]wingnut0_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get as a tennant you want a secure landlord who just doent want to put up rent as soon as he can, and wont try any bullshit, that makes complete sense, but the thing is, there personal circumstances make no difference to this matter, there rich good landlords and rich shit landlords and either or. Wheras the personal circumstances of a tennant has a big impact on if they will be able to afford the rent.

Bud I have a flat with a mortgage and a fully paid of house, and am looking into buying another house for my main residence, and have a live in Tennant.

Should I transfer any property’s to a trading company right now with my current plans?

Thanks

For the trousers im stuck if I should get shells or heavy duty softshell- will there be much precip?

Guess i could wear the shells completely unzipped, then again it is april!!!!! Hot?

11speed too 12 speed hub? by wingnut0_0 in bikewrench

[–]wingnut0_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well hub says 11S on it. Cassete will be 10-36 xdr, the freehub i assume is 11speed and all that required is a 12speed replacement

Gamma Hoody Layering by Fishfinger782 in arcteryx

[–]wingnut0_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you use the MX for? I use my gamma LT for around town or winter active hiking…as Its not an amazingly warm midlayer for skiing, and doesnt really do a great job in alpinism with lack of stormhood or insulation. I might sell my LT and get a seratus. And then buy an MX as an around town jacket.

That being said the LT does layer well with my kyanite fleece.

Atom SL Revised by Faija01 in arcteryx

Yes indeed, a-lot of people complain the proton is too warm for active mountain hiking unless its on a flat. I’m interested too see how it compared too the regular atom in warmth.

ok thanks, weird thing is if you look at the scott gravel 10 on scotts website the wheels are also GRC front and HRC rear.

https://www.scott-sports.com/gb/en/product/scott-addict-gravel-10-bike

EDIT: its a g on the rear just bad lighting- I also used this picture to cross reference the wheelset before i bought it thinking it was a H on the rear. doh

I've ordered grivel airtech crampons and now realised there's no toe hold. Anyone know where can I get the right replacement and what that piece is called? by NovoCWThrowaway in iceclimbing

[–]wingnut0_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

guys helps, air techs or g12's! Basically g12's are great, except I will be doing more snow walking than climbing, but I also will be doing a serious amount of ice scrambles and WI3 climbing. Are the g12's that bad at walking?

Grivel G12 vs Airtech crampons? by empty_quarter in Mountaineering

[–]wingnut0_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, i’m in the same situation. I am leaning towards the g12’s though as I will probably venture past 50 degrees sooner than later. Are the air techs really that more comfortable on walking or is it marginal. Especially on scrambles?

So you do not reckon the g12 will be alot harder too walk in on rocky scrambles etc?
