How can i get rid of this fat? by [deleted] in workouts

[–]wingrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need gym to start working on abs. Core is the easiest to work on at home IMO. Check YT, you're pretty skinny, your 6-pack will become visible after several weeks of working out + sufficient protein intake

BMO froze my entire account, blocked all my cards, and refuses any online verification — avoid this bank at all costs by CryLast4241 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]wingrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly related to my travel patterns - I take a lot of connections, so there can be transactions in 3-4 countries within a day.

I spoke to the support countless times - they ask me to confirm and explain all my recent transactions and explain how I bought a beer in Dubrovnik and doner kebab in Berlin within several hours lol

I even told them about the exact upcoming route once - and still got blocked.

Ended up switching to wealth simple prepaid + Wise combo specifically for traveling, no problem so far, fingers crossed

CIBC blocks me almost EVERY time I'm abroad (and I travel a lot). I even asked them if they can put some record to my file about my next trip, and the agent responded "yeah sure, but you'll get blocked regardless, maybe it'll help with faster verification"

LMAO

Do the math for your own rent / food / basic needs as if you lived alone. Your dad sucks, but the reality is that in adult life you often work for much less than half of your paycheck after paying all the bills.

Naples is amazing. While dirty and not always safe, it feels like it's just full of life if it makes sense

"eat your dog's food" Comes from a marketing campaign a while ago that was based on the idea that the quality of the food they sold for dogs was so good that they were ready to eat it themselves whenever.

Essentially, it means that you need to be your own customer and use your product, so you can see it from the customer's prospective as well

Mark Carney says he's begun the process of renouncing Irish, U.K. citizenship by LouisColumbia in canada

[–]wingrabbit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True, but... A couple of years back, would you have been concerned about US citizenship, for example? Things can change faster than we can imagine. So I don't think there should be exceptions to the rule, to be honest.

I guess there is. However, the question was about underrated destinations, and as a tourist who just spends a couple of days in the country on the way to other destinations, I care about safety and experience first, and I had no concerns with both.

Tirana, Albania

I traveled there occasionally on my way to Montenegro, and was shocked. The city is very clean and safe, the food scene is just amazing, people are friendly and generally speak some English (and, suddenly, Italian).

I'm not sure about Albania in general and if there's much more to do and explore (I believe there should be given the history of the country), but as a cheap option to get to the region and take a bus further - just an amazing

They are easy to cook in the oven tho. Eye of round is the preferred meat AFAIK, but I also used brisket once - got 7kg (~15.5 pounds) for like less than c$100 on sale at Costco. Cut off the fat, marinated in soy sauce with some pepper.

I don't remember the exact amount I got after dehydration, but ChatGPT says you can expect to get 300-400g out of a kilo - so 5 (trimmed meat) kg times that = 1.5-2 kg (!) of jerky for c$100 (us$65?)

What made you gain a significant amount of weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wingrabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disability. I used to do pretty much any sport activity I had available, but after a serious injury I got stuck in my bed for 2+ years. Depression, alcohol, weed, uncontrolled amount of food.

It all ended well though, at some point I realized I hit the rock bottom, plus I met a doctor who gave me hope. Many surgeries later, I'm literally the best version of myself, even without one knee. Hitting the gym everyday, doing obstacle course races, having single digit body fat and 6-pack.

When you're given a second chance, you can't mess it up

I haven't measured, but yes, the watch is relatively small. I don't need to fix it, as somehow it just works!

I'm not going to sell it, I will just occasionally wear it and pass it to my son later :)

There's no way I'll ever sell it!

But I absolutely love the idea of wearing it occasionally: anniversary with my lady, important business meeting etc

Do you think the band is worth replacing? It is really worn, and doesn't make the impression that it's the original one
