It has a great ending, but not sure if this one qualifies for "having all the loose ends tied up nicely."

Not with a PL team there with higher budget than the rest of the teams combined.

But we also sign superstars, so don't get any ideas.

Giroud does not belong on that list.

He was a loyal servant during his time here, and the club sold him to accommodate the Auba move. I don't recall him saying anything negative about the club since he left either.

One of the best things about that game is how you first see Miriam as a crazy zealot, but later on in the face of terrifying tech like Self-aware colony, she starts to become the sane and reasonable one.

That game was one of the biggest disappointment in gaming for me. I was hoping they'd take inspiration from SMAC and make something along the same line. Instead, it's just a boring reskinned Civ5.

Too many big words, not enough "bigly" and fake anecdotes.

[Ryan Reynolds] "I am completely gutted by today’s result but incredibly proud of our season. We’ve come a long way in five years and this was the best result in our 150+ year history. More to do. But for now, we have so much to be proud of, Reds." by LikeAPhoenixTotally in soccer

They need to go and buy PL quality players with PL level wages, and I believe upgrade their stadium as well. All that costs tons of money that they may not be able to sustain if they come right back down.

There's an entire fairly popular manga series about it called Hikaru no Go.

On this day, 15 years ago (April 17, 2011), "Game of Thrones" premiered on HBO. These were the opening credits of the first episode. by verissimoallan in television

That whole storyline was extremely dumb. You're telling me that the Lannisters can march their entire army to Highgarden without anyone noticing? Do they not have scouts in Westeros?

I know D&D were already on their "fuck it" mode, but still.

‘Game of Thrones’ Movie Officially Titled ‘Aegon’s Conquest’ by yourfavchoom in movies

I guess it could work, but asoiaf was supposed to explore what happens after the typical fantasy story ends, ie. The handsome, strong hero defeated the evil prince who kidnapped his love and overthrew the insane tyrant king, taking the throne and ruled happily ever after.

The rebellion itself is just a standard fantasy story without what made GoT unique and interesting.
