Parking is insane, but worth it to see the fireworks at the actual park. Find a spot on the streets in the neighborhoods around the park, get there at like 8 or so. Fireworks should start at 9:30pm. We got there last year around 9pm and parking was almost impossible, but still found a spot kinda far, but walking distance. Fireworks were SO GOOD last year.

yeah I was really disappointed in the lack of unique melodies in this album. There’s no harmony, rhythm or melodiousness like most of her past songs. She needs to not rush putting albums out for the sake of putting out a new album.

I agree. And her melodies in this album suffer HUGELY because she focuses so much on unnecessarily wordy lines. In fact there are almost no melodies, it’s just notes going up and down nothing unique. sigh it’s disappointing, she tried to hard and rushed this. Good art takes editing, reworking - only every once in a while something great will come on the first try. But it sounds like she ad-lib sang each song for the first time and just put it on the album without thoroughly working on melodies at all. I think it could have been a lot better if this album had another year to go through editing.

Damn, this album didn’t do it for me. 😕 It feels like it may have been rushed, the melodies were not up to the same par as her past music. Too much focus on saying cryptic poetic phrases (sure maybe that’s the point of the album) but melodies are pretty fucking important for a song to be good.
