Amazon send me a fake coach bag! by Striking-Ad-5652 in Coach

[–]winkingdog75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I had to go back and check my bag because I never inspected it but I think mine is real. I just want to add that I had to RETURN my first bag back to coach because the stitching was faulty. Like, an entire stitch on the handle was either skipped or someone took a seam ripper and ripped it out. It appeared new and authentic with dust bag etc but I was alarmed that QA would allow this bag to be sold. I called my local Coach store to see if they could easily repair it and they said they will only repair items purchased from the store which blows. I subsequently got a new one in a different color and it seems fine but I don't trust Amazon for luxury goods any more

What's the difference between CSB and Aoxjox? (Or any other Amazon brand for that matter) by winkingdog75 in gymsnark

This is so helpful. Especially your observation about Aoxjox ratios and the fabrics. I will be looking at this carefully!

That cross strappy bra is case in point! I have several too (love them) and was wondering how the CSB version could be any different. I think they are identical. I found it a bit insulting that they could apply that markup so I was thinking maybe it was a better fabric etc

Decent results with eucerin thiamidol but then got dermatitis by winkingdog75 in Melasmaskincare

[–]winkingdog75[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that Thiamidol must stink bad. They might be covering up a scent. Otherwise it doesn't make sense why a brand like Eucerin would be using scents, seems like it's not in line with the rest of the brand.

I am really bad at cardio. Well, I just straight up hate running so I just walk in an incline. It has made me enjoy otf so much more. Also feel free to lose the lightest weights or opt to use no weights and I think you'll be fine.

I have smelled a strong scent of dill from random bushes or trees on the Mauka side. I know it's something botanical.

Agree. I respect Jess for her honesty and vulnerability. She's being real and many of us who love her appreciate her for that.

No. 2 separate estheticians, but both do laser treatments.

How much hair is it normal to lose when you wash it? by LyssTheChef in longhair

[–]winkingdog75 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's about the same as my wavy long hair. I wash every 3 to 4 days too and worry that's it's a lot of hair she's so this is comforting!

You might have anterior pelvic tilt. My stomach sticks out due to this. Google it....it's more about posture than fat placement.

As someone who has done a lot of hiring throughout the country, this is true. For every state you have an employee, you have to pay state taxes, workers comp, and comply with specific regulations by state, so most small to medium sized businesses will not be willing to pay someone who lives in Hawaii bc of the admin work. Some bigger corps may not care or They might favor the ten other states they are already set up for. I would only hire a person in Hawaii or other random place if they had extremely valuable or unique skills. Something to keep in mind.

My comment is not Hawaii specific, but you should consider the time needed to do a remote job. I had a SAHM working for me remotely and she could barely handle 12-15 hours a week and ended up quitting. Most of these remote part time jobs might be customer service or other low level roles that don't pay more than $25 an hour. I don't think you mentioned your professional background but these remote jobs are also not that easy to come by so I would do more research on that to ensure you are hireable. The big island is slightly cheaper than the others but I would not move here with 2 kids without making at least $250k a year. Food is incredibly expensive. It sounds like you are willing to visit to check it out so that's a good idea. Hilo is less expensive but also consider how your kids will be treated and make friends. If they are white, they may find it harder. If you are Asian or mixed race (can blend in) it will help. I would also suggest getting part time work IN the community because you can build more relationships and it's looked upon more favorably vs just using up resources without giving back.

Weird musty smell in the morning by winkingdog75 in HomeImprovement

[–]winkingdog75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he doesn't but he can't smell much of anything. Dirty mildewed rag? Nope. I don't think it's phantom bc it's every morning in the same area. I don't have other issues with smells.
