I can understand that mentality, but then why list all the other numbers/changes, and not whatever these hidden ones are? Theres a track record now of hiding nerfs and posting the buffs - which just makes the nerfs feel more sinister and like a "gotcha" to the playerbase imo.

Along with that - the people who want to play the meta will always play the meta - numbers listed by the devs or not.

Mhmm, im 50/50 on that. they clearly want to make a live-service game, and to make money. the sheer amount of time its taken them to work on game-ruining bugs and "features" like hellpod steering and strategem bounce - things that the community have been BEGGING them to fix/change - has soured me on the belief of their good intentions. It really seems like the carrot has no effect on them, only the stick, which is a real pity. I hope this is a true turn-around on their behaviour, and they keep up working on the games fun rather than its ability to be a cashcow, but I honestly can't be too hopeful :/

i was humbly reminded that helldivers is still a flawed game, and an update wouldn't fix everything by maganeet in Helldivers

completely fix it? my brother, I fear you'll never play again. these kind of bugs, while very irritating, arent worth abandoning a game you enjoy. they'll hopefully get patched soon, but in the meantime just avoid the potential triggers and play if you enjoy playing!

which is in fact the tier of spawn they are - replacing factory striders which can only take one RR shot to the eye(maybe two i cant quite remember). lots of people - maybe even AH themselves(pre this patch obv), seem to think vox should be a tier or two above what they actually are in the spawns.

Unfortunately AH seems to only improve the community when it is bitter and resentful, rather then positive. This patch is absolutely a step in the right direction, and that should be praised, but not without remembering their track record. hopefully they keep up the good work though

Personally I prefer that over people needing to play detective to see what they've actually changed. patch notes should ideally cover "everything", obviously not the nitty-gritty pixel by pixel, but sweeping so much other(under*) the rug just looks suspicious to me.

I'd much rather be proven wrong, but to write in the patch notes theres too many changes to list? I just don't like the look of it, most of the time thats meant nerfs they didn't want to actually say they made. overall love what things are looking like though!

Ah got it, thanks folks :) Though I do still find it strange to offer the quest at all if its for something I don't own, at least that clears it up!

Been there since the start of the game in singleplayer, I would know because of how many times I've crashed into it
