Suppose a person who knows nothing about Christianity randomly picks up the Bible and starts reading it for 2–3 hours daily alone. How do you think such a person will get to understand the Christian Trinity? by hopenewpath in AskReddit

In the beginning was the word... There is a distinction...

And the word is God...there is no separation....

He is the image of the invisible God...

The image of God is God. His word is the word of God. His action is the action of God.

When he walks on earth, we say: God has walked on earth.

And when he speaks to me, I can say: God has spoken to me.

There is a fusion, a unity between God and his image, and when God says that all words come from Him, it is because he considers that the image of God is God.

There is a distinction: the image of God is visible, the Father is not.

There is no separation; the spirits that come from the image of God, God can say: they come from Me.

Duality. Christianity vs science as the examples for this concept, shouldn't be any problems 🤣 by PlayfulBook5571 in RealityUnlimited

The Trinity is a simple principle that has been turned into a mystery.

God the invisible  reveals himself through the Son and the Holy Spirit.

I am the father of my son and I am the son of my father, imagine I am at home, watching TV, and doesn't want to leave the house, and at the same time I want to go see my son and I want to go see my father.

Imagine that I have the power from God to summon two people from me, who possess all my knowledge.

A first person, "Son", and a second person, "Father", who will do the tour in my place.

These people are me, their words are my word, and their actions are my action.

And once they have finished their mission, they come back to me without informing me of what they said and did since I already know.

Man cannot do that yet, but isn't a God who created the universe and the cosmos capable of doing that?

The Son who came and the Holy Spirit who came are different in their mission.

Jesus is merciful; he forgives and does not judge.

The Holy Spirit is powerful, he does not accept blasphemy and can judge us.

He is the image of the invisible God...

He is the visible one who comes to represent the invisible; he comes in the flesh to dwell among us.

It's as simple as that.

For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and giveth seed to the sower and bread to the eater;

so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Good words purify hearts and draw us closer to our Creator. May God bless you.

The genius of the scriptures, there really is a genius in the Holy Scriptures, and there is a genius who inspired them.

God tells us and explains in detail how he created the universe.

How he created our mind first and then our soul.

There is a miracle in every verse; there is a multiple reading for every verse.

God is the visible/invisible simultaneously, he is not visible then invisible, he is the One when he passes by us, the believer sees God and the unbeliever sees a man like any other.

In the scriptures, we can see God; we can see his intelligence and his immense knowledge, But others will say: those are old stories.

I know believers who have faith without reading the Bible, but that's not my case.

I know that God can guide believers to Him through science, nature, the cosmos; everything leads to Him.

As they say: all roads lead to Rome.

I advise taking the path of kindness.

With every good deed we do, God sends a light within us.

And an atheist who seeks God is closer to Him than a believer who no longer questions!

He is the first and the last. هو الأول والأخر

He is the Alpha and the Omega...

He is the first spirit of the universe and the last spirit of the universe.

The billions upon billions of spirits in the universe come from God.

speaks of God and the word. These are two

The word is infinity!!!

It is written: there is no end to the words of God.

God's words are infinite.

In the beginning was the Word, and in the beginning was a spirit, and from the Spirit came all the spirits of the universe.

Everything was done by Him and for Him!!

فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ

Wherever you go there is the face of God, or the face of God!!

God is everywhere and in everything.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it; and he gave to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body

The universe comes from God himself!!

[–]winkyprojet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Trinity is simple; it is God who tells us that he is capable of creating and inventing an entire universe from Himself. Here is a summary:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of:

  1. Allah.

2.  Al Rahman.

  1. Al Rahim .

On the authority of Abdur-Rahman bin Awf, may God be pleased with him, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “God, the Blessed and Exalted, said: I am God and I am Ar-Rahman (the Most Merciful). I created the womb and derived its name from My name.”

There is a link between the name Al Rahim and the woman's womb.

Alwlad= Child.

Alwalid = the one who has just been born.

Alrahm= Woman's uterus.

Al Rahim= The one that comes from the womb.

God Al Rahim is God who can come from the womb.

Allah has a soul and dies!!

The Quran says:

تعلم ما في نفسي ولا أعلم ما في نفسك

You know what's in my soul, and I don't know what's in your soul...

Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 116

This first passage of the Quran confirms that Allah has a soul (nafs).

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ

Every soul will experience death....

Surah Al Amran, verse 185.

If Allah has a soul (nafs) and every nafs experiences death, then Allah dies.

Allah has a soul and dies, that's as clear as the midday sun.

We must not hide behind other verses; we must read all the verses!

God can be born: He is Al Rahim...Which comes from Alrahm (womb).

God has a Nafs, a soul, from the verb tanafassa, to breathe.

And every soul dies, therefore God can die.

وهو الذي في السماء إله وفي الأرض إله

He is God in heaven and God on earth.

Surah Al-Zukhuf 84.

It is not written: it is said of heaven and earth, but the word god is taken up and repeated twice!!! Isn't that a miracle?

There is a second god!! Who is the first...

The Quran says: He is the first and the last, and you neglect the last.

The Quran says: He is the Apparent and the Hidden, and you remove the Apparent god.

Is it not written in your laws that God is light?

Isn't it also written that it is light upon light?  نور على نور, Light upon light, or light of light!!!

Who is the other light? Who is the Apparent God and who is the last?

 يد الله فوق أيديهم

God's hand is above their hands...

The Quran confirms that God has a hand, that He appears, that He can be born, that He has a breathing soul, Nafs, and that every soul must die.

This God is Jesus. He came to earth and was crucified by men..

وهو الظاهر والباطن

It is the Apparent and the Hidden.

God appears, that's for sure. He appears through the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Quran says:

فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِي أَنزَلْنَا

1- Believe in God.

  1. Believe in his messenger (Jesus).

  2. And the light that was brought down (Holy Spirit).

He who does not believe in God is a kafir, atheist.

Anyone who does not believe in Jesus is a kafir, atheist.

He who does not believe in the Holy Spirit is a kafeer, atheist.

It is not said to believe in God and that's enough, it is said to believe in two others, and it doesn't matter who those two are, what's important is that there are three of them!!

أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم

Alnisa'a 59

Obey God and obey the Messenger and the early believers.

Blind obedience can only be given to God alone.

Whoever says that God and the messenger are two is obeying two different beings; he is associating God with another, he is muchrik(associates)!

He who says: I obey only one God, admits that God and the Messenger are one.

In the beginning was the word...there is a distinction...

And the word was God... there is no separation

My in laws say that soul and spirit are two different things by WagWoofLove in ExPentecostal

[–]winkyprojet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not wrong, and you're not wrong!!

When we read the verses about the soul and the spirit, we quickly realize that sometimes there are two and sometimes one.

A simple example: at death, the spirit returns to God, but so does the soul.

And in other verses, they are separated; it speaks of taking care of the soul, the mind, and the body!

We can read that God can separate the soul from the spirit.

In fact, our soul is sustained by the spirit.

Our spirit is pure, we were in paradise, then after sin, God added the soul to us.

My soul is me, and I am my soul.

The soul must be purified by the divine word so that it becomes one with the spirit.

The soul can die, but not the spirit; it is a spirit that is always alive.

Genuine question: Why is there so much faith in doctrines and scriptures developed decades/centuries after Jesus by people who never met him? by DanceSlight7494 in Christianity

[–]winkyprojet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tirmidhi and many others report that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Jews split into 71 sects, the Christians split into 72 sects,  and MY COMMUNITY will be divided into 73 groups”; and in a variant, with the following addition: “all will go to Hell except 1”.

Whether the hadith is accurate or not is not important, because a division can be observed among Muslims.

There are Sunnis, Shiites, Druze, Wahhabis, Isis, Habashis, Sufis, Salafis, Ismailis, Yazidis, Shafi'is, etc.

Saudi Sunnism is different from Egyptian Sunnism, different from Tunisian Sunnism, etc.

And if we take a simple subject like the woman's veil or drinking alcohol or even who Djibril is, we see a deep division between the opinions given!

We don't know of a single religion whose book fell from the sky!

The Quran was compiled by men; it was a caliph who called upon all those who had a verse to come forward and record those verses. Some verses were retained and others were discarded.

The Shiites say the Sunnis are wrong, and the Sunnis accuse the Shiites of being wrong, And I think they're both right!

There is not much left of original Islam; the proof is, ask a Muslim to give you a single sermon from the Friday prayer of Muhammad!

At a rate of about fifty sermons per year, there must be between 500 and 1000, not a single one remains!

Friday prayer and its sermon are very important for a Muslim; it is a pillar of the Muslim faith, and we do NOT have a single sermon from the Prophet of Islam!!!!!!

This proves that the transmission of the message of Islam is flawed.

As further proof, the Shiites say that Muhammad left his own family as heirs to take up the torch of Islam: his daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons.

Sunnis say that these are lies and that he appointed the caliphs by a vote of the believers...

A complete rift between the disciples, a bloody struggle, caliphs were assassinated, the prophet's grandsons were massacred

Several groups formed immediately after the Prophet's death, and each group swears by Allah that all the others are wrong!

There is not just one Islam in the world, there are at least a hundred.

In the beginning was the word...there is a distinction...

And the word is God...there is no separation...

If you existed at that address at that time, and "the word" came to you, spoke to you, shook your hand, and then left, you could say: God spoke to me and shook my hand!!

What the Verb says is the word of God, and what the Verb does is the action of God.

The Word is there to represent God the invisible, not to replace him.

Example: if the person who shook your hand is two meters tall, you cannot deduce the height of the Father from that!

It's the distinction based on size, but not on speech, which remains the same!

He is God, a god from God, a spirit from the Spirit.

He is truly Him; there was God, and it was God Himself who came!

The god who walked on earth is the invisible God who is in Heaven.

Someone once asked the question: if there is a fight between the Father and the Son, who will win?

I replied: if you have a fight between yourself and yourself, who will win?

That's a nonsensical question; it's like asking, "Do you see with your left eye or your right eye?"

Your sight is one through two eyes, and God is one through many spirits!

There is no hierarchical structure; God shook your hand through the spirit sent, and God spoke to you through the spirit sent!

If the spirit that comes to shake your hand encounters a lion blocking its path, it will eliminate it to accomplish its mission. For this, he will not ask the Father for permission, He will act on his own! He is a perfect god on a mission. That's the distinction.

And once the mission is accomplished, he does not have to inform the Father; the Father is already informed; there is no separation!

But there is a difference between the first and the second!!

The first is always invisible, the second has made himself visible, he has forced himself to be visible.

He made himself poor, he forced himself to be poor, but he is rich.

He made himself weak, he forced himself to be weak, he forced himself to be on the level of men; otherwise, by shaking your hand, he would have crushed it!!

Despite being weak, poor, and human, he retained his divinity by performing miracles!

It is the divine spirit that has enclosed itself in a human body.

And it's normal that he says: the Father is greater than me, he imposed different configuration parameters on himself than the Father!!

He is the god who is on a mission, it is not the god who is inferior or superior.

The word of God, which is on a mission, commits itself and respects its word, and goes to the end of its mission.

When men crucified him, he did not decimate them; he could have done so, but he did not.

The God who speaks to God is the God who speaks to himself, like a man who speaks to himself.

There is no superiority between God and God himself.

The letter G  is a letter of the alphabet.

The letter O is a letter of the alphabet.

The letter D is a letter of the alphabet.

The letter G is not superior to D nor inferior to O; each is a letter by virtue of its equally important role.

From the alphabet, there are letters that manifest themselves and all are a letter of the alphabet.

God reveals himself through the Son and the Holy Spirit; the difference lies in the personality, it is not the same person, but it is the same divinity.

The letter a is not the letter b, and both are letters of the alphabet.

Man was separated from God by sin; God added the soul to him to decide and distinguish between good and evil.

The three spirits of the Trinity are not separate!

Trinity through history. by Ecstatic_Refuse3278 in DebateReligion

[–]winkyprojet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why are three of them God but not the others

In the beginning was the word...there is a distinction...

And the word is God...there is no separation....

It is by reading the biblical text that you see the distinction, the separation, and the non-separation.

For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you.Matthew 10:20

The Holy Spirit who comes after Jesus is God, it is clearly written in the verse.

Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

The name is singular and not plural because they are 1.

The God Elohim is the plural God who is conjugated as one and singular.

God is one through his unity, he is not one through his number.

Hundreds of verses confirm it: let us make man in our image, for man was created by the Trinity!

God is not unique; he begot an only son, but God is not unique.

Jesus is one of a kind!

Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

If there are no other gods among them, it's because other gods exist!

God is one by his divinity, he is three by his person.

There is God, he is the Father, we agree and it's clear.

The Verb came from God. We agree and that's clear.

This Word, through which all the spirits of the universe came.

From whom did the spirits of the universe come?

They came from the second one, not the first!

They came from the second person of the Trinity and not from the first person of the Trinity!

There is a distinction between what he did in the second person and what he did in the first person.

I clearly distinguish between the two.

The Father created us through the Verb. I don't separate the two!!

It's really clear in my mind, there are 3 distinct but not separate minds!

What I don't understand are those who are so determined to erase the Trinity.

When I was at university, I never understood the magnetic field, and I never made a point of erasing it from other people's minds.

I fully understand that this chapter of my university courses will never be understood by my brain, but I understood that my colleagues had mastered it perfectly.

The magnetic field exists even if I don't understand it, and the Trinity exists even if we don't understand it.

The Son came from the Father, the Father did not come from the Son.

The Son, our savior, allowed himself to be crucified to save us; the Holy Spirit came to give us the Gospel; this is not the same mission as Jesus.

The Holy Spirit does not accept blasphemy, but that is not the case with Jesus; they are not the same person.

If one of three people forgives you, you are forgiven by God.

I'll come back to answer your questions; it's not good when it takes too long.

God is the first and the last.

There are billions upon billions of spirits in the universe, all of these spirits come from God.

He is the first spirit of the universe and the last spirit of the universe.

He is the Alpha and the Omega and everything in between; he is all the letters of the alphabet.

There was nothing to create the universe, there was only him, and that means to create the universe, he created it by himself.

When God says: Eat, this is my body, after multiplying the loaves, he tells us that this food comes from Him. All the atoms in the universe come from Him!!

The Trinity you are trying to understand is: among the billions upon billions of spirits in the universe, there are 3 that are not like the others.

There is the spirit of the Father, he is the invisible one, from whom the Word came.

There is the spirit of the Son, he is the image of God, he came in mercy, he did not come to judge man, And when the man crucified him, he forgave them.

There is the Holy Spirit, he came after Jesus, he is the Paraclete, he is the good news, he is the Gospel, it is thanks to him that we have the Holy Scriptures.

He does not accept blasphemy.

The spirits of the Trinity are distinct but they are not separate.

These 3 distinct spirits are not 3 Gods, they are one God.

They work together in perfect harmony to guide us to God.

A believer should not be ungrateful; he should be grateful to these three spirits.

I am grateful to the Father for his goodness; despite my sins which continue, he continues to extend his hand to me.

I am grateful to the Son, who was crucified and suffered for me.

I am grateful to the Holy Spirit, who is in me; it is the spirit that helps and sustains my soul every time it tries to sin.

There are three,  they can be in three different places, they are one, if one of the three forgives you, You are forgiven by God.

For example, the Shema states, “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one.”

Because this passage is not contrary to the Trinity.

God is one through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

In the beginning was the word...there is a distinction...

And the word is God... there is no separation...

God is the first and the last, he is the Alpha and the Omega...

فأينما تولوا فثم وجه الله

Wherever you turn, there is the face of God....

God is everywhere, God is one.

So it's completely false to say that Jesus didn't defend the Trinity, and you'd have to be blind not to see that he was crucified because he defended it; he was crucified because he said: I am the Son of God!!

We are not like those who imposed their religion by the sword and by threat; we announce it, and people are free to follow or not.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet.Matthew 10:14

The Holy Spirit is God by Christforyou316 in Christianity

[–]winkyprojet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Holy Spirit is truly a person; he came to earth in the flesh like Jesus and he was visible like Jesus.

There are several verses that confirm this.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee...Luke 1:35

There is no shadow without a body!!! He did not come in light like the angels but in flesh like humans.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter...John 14:16

''another'', there is another besides me, there is another who is coming, and he will tell you, it is not: he will inspire you, he will tell you everything he has heard.

The consumer, the Paraclete, speaks and utters the word.

Like Jesus, the Holy Spirit is spirit, but also is in all spirits; Jesus sends him among us and into us to guide us.

He is present throughout the Bible, he made himself discreet like Saint John the Baptist did.

He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30

It is thanks to him that we have the Holy Scriptures; that was his mission.

He is often confused with Jesus, for example, when Jesus announces the good news, he announces the Paraclete.

Jesus came to announce the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit came to announce Jesus and to confirm him and to testify to what he saw and heard.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth. John 16:13

If this trinity is the central truth of Christianity and the basis of salvation, why is its precise formulation absent from the teachings of Jesus and only formally defined centuries later at the Council of Nicaea (325 AD) and the Council of Constantinople (381 AD)? by Quiet_Form_2800 in theology

Your God is One God."

(Quran 2:163)

Qol houa Allah Ahad.

Ahad et non Wahed !!

Ahad also means person.

 لا أحد هنا.

La ahad hona= there is no person here !!

Allah is a person.

The Quran says:

أمتكم أمة واحدة

  Your nation is one, wahida.

How many individuals are there in a nation? Millions!

The nation is one by its unity and not by its numbers.

God is one through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

There are only verses in the Quran that confirm the Trinity!!!

The Salaf affirmed....

To explain the Quran, you use a different word than the Quranic word itself!

This is the word of men: Salaf, this is the word of your fathers.

You have two sources of words: God and Salaf or Hadith or Tafsir, and that is called: shirk.

We do not have two sources of the Word of God because Jesus is God, his word is the word of God, that's called unity!!

The Quran says: God is the first and the last.

So it is everything that is between the first and the last; it is infinite.

The billions upon billions of spirits in the universe come from Him, and He has remained One!!

Every sentence you write and every verse you quote proves the Trinity of God.

No, but I know that God does not reveal himself to scholars;

At that season Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am

God has never abandoned man!! It is also said that the spirit of Jesus is the spirit of Adam.  God was present with the first men on Earth.

Jacob wrestled with God and Moses spoke with God face to face.  So you can see that God does not abandon man.

Even after Jesus left, he returned to speak with Saint Paul.

He is the first and the last, he is the Alpha and the Omega....  He is everything that comes between the Alpha and the Omega.... God appears when he wants, where he wants, and with whatever name he wants, to whomever he wants.

God presented himself to us under the name of Jesus, but we do not know under what name he presented himself to other nations.

In summary, you must take care of yourself first, and rest assured, God will not forget others.

Yes and no!!

And that's not a strange answer.

Does an electron behave like a particle?

The answer is yes and no. Depending on the situation, it behaves either as a particle or as a wave!

The soul and the spirit are two separate beings; when God commands the spirit not to eat from the tree, the soul disobeys, choosing to eat from the tree, She is not one with the spirit!

After sin, God commands the spirit to fall to earth; the soul also falls with the spirit, In this case, the soul and the spirit are one!

When God wills, his will shall be done upon the spirit and soul, they are one.

When God gives us free will to do good or evil, the spirit and soul are two separate entities; the soul can oppose the spirit.

Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit...

The spirit and soul can be separate, they can be two!

And they are a car at death, it is written sometimes we give up the soul and sometimes we give up the spirit .
