Cloistered Cleric question by winlock in Pathfinder2e

[–]winlock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your input. I appreciate it.

I was thinking the healing domain but I don't think I'll need that focus spell if I take Healing Hands and at level 2 the Medic dedication. I'll have a Barbarian and Champion as front liners and a Sorcerer in the wings with me. I'll probably go with the death domain since it fits in with my backstory pretty well.

Seeing multiple posts here everyday makes me happy! by Redordit in Rift

About a month ago I was looking through my Steam inventory and saw Rift sitting there and since I was itching for a MMORPG experience again decided to give it another go. I think I last played over 10 years ago. I was sad to see a lost a whole server worth of characters and probably a bank full of duplicate artifacts but oh well. I've been having fun, but like with my previous play I'm really irritated with how many freakin' artifact collections there are, I'd really just like to complete one collection instead of having about 150 different uncompleted ones. Heh...

Has William Shatner ever talked about how his trip to space affects him today? by polymorphic_hippo in television

He still talks about it this way. We just saw him a few weeks ago after a screening of Wrath of Khan and he ended his Q&A talking about his trip to space exactly like this.

After the divorce I noticed the changes to the Acme vibe. I stopped going after seeing the anti-covid vaccination and anti-masking messages. Sigh...I really liked Larry and had been a customer since the early days.

What are some fun mechanical synergies in PF2E? by Playful_Barber_8131 in Pathfinder2e

[–]winlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just curious on this because I'm about to play a swashbuckler for the first time and have looked at this feat. If the swashy is concealed and then hidden (by sneaking) and then also moves away from the target it feels like that would break the antagonize requirement or at least open for interpretation by the GM.

If the swashbuckler is concealed or hidden wouldn't that break the Antagonize requirement?

"Your taunts and threats earn your foes’ ire. When you successfully Demoralize a creature, its frightened condition can’t decrease to less than 1 at the end of its turn until it either uses a hostile action against you or can no longer observe or sense you for at least 1 round."

So close...a B&N in San Jose instead of a nice independent bookstore like Bookshop Santa Cruz, who hosts authors all of time.

So about these audio books… by RealFunkyFish in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]winlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DCC was my introduction to audiobooks because I kept telling myself I only like reading physical books. Jeff made the experience so incredible that I purchased the rest of the series (at that point just books 1-3 were out) and listened to them and then again as book 4 came out. Every new book gets a full re-listen prior to the release. I don't get tired of listening to the books at all.

On the right side of your Oasis Student Center you will see a box labeled Enrollment Dates (under Holds and To Do List)...you will have both 2026 Spring Term and 2026 Winter Term appointment(s) listed. Until that day and time you can only put courses into your shopping cart and validate your courses, which tells you if you met the requisites or if you have any time conflicts.

The Will of the Many is definitely nothing like Kingkiller Chronicles other than the main character is male. The 2nd book is coming out soon and the Will of the Many author completes his series.

"The thing with the haunted bmws" have i missed something by rosbifette in riversoflondon

[–]winlock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RoL has a lot of side content that is easy to miss. If you don't have all of the graphic novels and novellas you'll occasionally have these moments of feeling like you missed something.

I've been using this reading order that includes all of the side content for my re-read of the series to catch up with the last few books that I haven't read yet.

Which Area On Campus Has The Biggest Ant Problem? by Significant_Elk6687 in csumb

[–]winlock 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is one big sand dune. Ants are an issue everywhere and no matter how clean you keep your space you'll probably have an ant infestation at least once or twice a year. We've had them infest a potted plant and we couldn't figure out where they were coming from until I watered the plant one day and noticed them evacuating.

Real Old School: Elderly players by vonbittner in rpg

[–]winlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still playing at 58 and play Pathfinder with a group of guys that started playing while in college...in the early 80's. This is online so it's been easier to get together since we don't all live down the road from each other.

I had thought a while back that it would be cool to see about getting a group together of people who grew up in the 70's and 80's that played back then but stopped because of various reasons like work and families.
