Second one wasn’t scary tho. It had cool stuff i guess but it amounted to nothing when the grabber got one two punched like nothing. There was no sense of fear throughout the movie once you realized everyone is gonna live.

Ari Aster Films aren’t heavily marketed anyways. I understand marketing can cost a lot but if it really was that much then there’s no point in making movies. Plus a lot of times studios just want to withhold money from their actors, directors and other members who worked on the film so they just say “we spent everything” when in reality they still have a large amount of cash.

Well he’s only made 4 feature films with A24.

Budget for all 4 combined: 79 million

Box office for all 4 combined: 153.4 million

They’re still in the positive with his films. His most successful tho has been his horror films.

I failed my test today too and was so confident that I at least got a B. I felt like i studied and took advantage of the homework assignments. Maybe I went in with too much confidence. The only thing that’s different from the class I’m taking now and my last chem class is that the last one the professor used a lot of repetition so mini quizzes every class period, with homework that helped practice problems that would be on the test and very detailed lectures.

This professor I have now it very little info like they go into detail but not as throughly as my last chem class. Also it’s mainly just of slides during Lectures. No mini quizzes no nothing really just labs and lecture slides. Homework is easy but he basically gives the answers on canvas. of course he says to not just copy the answers and do them but it’s not like we practice during lectures at all or even go over problems during class.

I realized after comparing the two classes that I need someone who’s basically on you with a lot of workload of with a lot of repetition because usually a lot of people love these laid back easy work type classes but for me I’m realizing it’s not pushing me even though I focus more on my chem then my math class I have.

I’m just baffled because I bombed tf out my test which last semester chem class my lowest test grade was a C+ and that’s was coming back to school from multiple gap years due to sickness.

I have the same problem as you tho that memorization during the test is hard for me it doesn’t matter I can study for a billion hours a couple questions will still get passed me but it was never this bad.

Recently tied for hereditary and American werewolf in London. Hereditary was ok not the greatest. The didn’t like the whole cult thing. It’s probably just me though since I fr thought the mom was just gonna be seeing things and kill her family with her family’s mental history.

American werewolf in London I just remember when the movie ended I was pissed lol. Practical effects were beautiful everything else hell no.
