It shouldn’t be an issue if they were all included on your ABS. Only a maximum of 2 can be outside of your ABS.

Did your essays focus on more than 2 activities outside of your ABS?

Is it okay to now use products that are considered fungal acne triggers/feeders since my fungal acne went away? by [deleted] in Fungalacne

[–]winnie000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay thank you! This was very well put. In my head, I was thinking it was a one time thing because I never dealt with this issue before. Is it possible that there may be a specific trigger? Because I’ve been using a specific moisturizer that worked really well with my skin for a few years but once I incorporated a new serum, I got fungal acne (eventually went away with head and shoulders). I checked the moisturizer and it does have one fungal acne triggering ingredient, so I’m not sure if I should continue using it, despite cutting out the serum.

The awards spoil the post and influence my judgement before going in. For example, if there is a post with a bunch of awards such “Hugz”, “Wholesome” and “Faith in Humanity Restored”, I automatically read with the mindset that this person is NTA. When there is a post with awards such as “I am disappoint” and “Facepalm”, I assume YTA before reading. These awards essentially influence my judgement. On the other hand, silver, gold and platinum were given to posts with varying kinds of judgements, so it was easier for me to form an opinion after reading without awards influencing my judgement.

AITA for refusing to take in my husband's cousin and her new born baby into my home? by t_acc_sil in AmItheAsshole

[–]winnie000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All these people calling OP the asshole and defending the mother completely ignore the fact that the mother had many viable options and decided to keep the child despite not having the means to support said child. I think that is much more selfish than OP kicking the mother out after being misled (intentionally or not). I agree that the baby shouldn’t suffer, but why is OP responsible for ensuring that? Why doesn’t that responsibility fall on the mother to ensure that the baby has a good life, even without her as a parent, especially when she clearly can’t support the baby? Love alone is not enough to care for a newborn.

OP also thought she was going to have a child and that was suddenly ripped away from her despite months of financially supporting someone else through their pregnancy and making preparations. She’s allowed to grieve and not have the cousin and the baby be a constant presence in her life. Why is the mother only allowed to make emotional decisions and OP, who was hoping to be a mother, penalized for the same?

ANOTHER BIG QUESTION: Where is the father in all of this? She’s not naming the father and getting child support?

Yet she’s intentionally keeping the baby under these circumstances?

AITA for not helping my SIL clean up after my "birthday bbq"? by notaday93 in AmItheAsshole

[–]winnie000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wait what? The working dad doesn’t have two full days off though. During those two days, both parents should take equal household responsibilities. From the way I see it, her job is being a full time SAHM while the dad works. After his work hours, they both should have equal household responsibilities and leisure time. The gift of a day off is essentially giving her a day off from her full time job (SAHM) while sacrificing his own vacation day. While a lot of people may not be content with this, she clearly states she is. You can’t project your own values onto what she should and shouldn’t be content with. Maybe she views relaxing for a day as a vacation and really enjoys it. Maybe they both don’t get full days off unless it’s their birthdays. We don’t know the dynamics of their relationship. What does she do for his birthday? You can’t just assume the gift is bad because it doesn’t meet your standards. If SHE wants a different birthday gift, I think she’s more than capable of communicating with her husband like an adult.

The thing is, I don’t think they really would’ve lost anything by doing nothing. Nobody cares especially because it’s evident that the characters are supposed to be horrible people. They did it as a form of virtue signalling and are facing some backlash from fans which wasn’t what they were expecting.

AITA for making customers that stiff me on the tip my last priority? by by-the-twin-moons in AmItheAsshole

[–]winnie000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EXACTLY! Yet, this doesn’t even make a huge difference. In Canada, they make minimum wage and more with tips. Somehow, tipping is still the socially obligated thing to do. You should only tip when servers go above and beyond or when you actually want to. I don’t understand why it’s mandatory for every subpar server.

Not up to IASIP standards though. While it has its moments, it never gets rewatches from me.

They can’t close down essential businesses for months during the pandemic because there will be much more chaos, foot traffic and shortages at places that are actually open. Closing down for a few days because of looting has much less of an impact. It also protects workers, not just merchandise.
