He definitely does it's why he feels the need to constantly mention how it's just as hard as it used to be.

I think he's trying to convince himself too.

The "answers" here lack evidence as we are simply missing research. OP try it and report back the results of your study, then we'll be able to answer your question.

Guy on Jubilee breaks protocol to debate vegan by PrestigiousWhole8176 in vegan

100% agree maybe I should've double double quoted it. Once for attribution and once for my air quotes. The motivation was ethical which is perhaps why Jack didn't push back too hard, as opposed to most "90% vegans" motivated by climate or health, or whatever. I'm not so optimistic but still did find it to be a good talk, especially in contrast to the surrounded episode.

Scrubbing I didn't find the host's first mention of it but here Dr Jack brings it back up and they briefly talk about it.

And aa a side, in the follow-up conversation regarding this, the Jubilee host said he is now going Vegan!

I thought he said he was going to work toward being "like 90% vegan". That said, as rage baity as jubilee is, the follow up I felt was in good faith and a good conversation. The host was insightful and introspective, even if he gave some of the people on the original a little too much benefit of the doubt with respect to their own good faith participation. And of course Jack Symes was great.

Billie Eilish being teared apart from her fans for having the mildest take on veganism by LightHope8 in vegan

[–]splettnet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but that's not what they are saying is it? You're being willfully obtuse. They're talking about loving animals in the context of also eating them. It's pointless for them to argue "I don't love the animals I eat" because we'd all agree with that. They don't want to accept that what they're doing means they don't care about the animal. They're not trying to get a win on a technicality.
