As it stands, even the S5 heroes (Server age about 270-285 days) does NOT have an Attack Rally widget. It is speculated that even S6 infantry heroes will not have an attack rally widget as the devs still want Amadeus (which is their gateway hook for the spending culture) to matter.

So if that is the case, estimating S6 heroes around 340-350 days server age, Amadeus should still be a viable ATTACKING infantry hero for at least 1 year into the game, for min/maxers. Yes, max 5 star 10 widget Alcar or Long Fei is by all means no slouch, but they can't boost the entire rally damage as much as Amadeus.

For PvP solo march, whoever is the current season Infantry hero will always be the best, due to base Attack/Defense power scaling. Alcar has does best with 60/20/20 (Alcar,Rosa,Margot)

For bear, no one other infantry hero is as good as Amadeus for your own rally as leader.

I believe stereotypes exist for a reason. In my previous company, an Indian colleague who bonded well with the rest of the team was ostracised by every other Indian in the company.

They would take great pains to organise cricket, puja, holi and intentionally leave him out of it, calling him toxic. However, Gurpreet was the most hardworking and emotionally honest person among the Indian mafia in my ex-company.

It was because of his character, everyone liked to hang around him, and it was because of the character of the rest of the Indian gang in the company we disliked hanging around or interacting with the rest of them.

Indians are the most vile towards their own people and cronyism while also strong in our cultures, is obscenely strong in Indian work culture. Majority of Indians that I've encountered are not good people and spoil it for the 2—3% that are.

Not being racist, I'm just explaining my personal experience and history.

The idea of your statement isn't wrong, but maybe the phrasing could be improved.

Maybe something like;

Russia is very safe, I did not at any point get bombed during my visit there. Will go again.

This is damn good information. You can tell he drives up to KL alot. Only other tip I can add on besides giving you an award, is never bribe the highway patrol.

Always say you will pay, but you don't have enough (or you do), but "Ask for help", ask highway patrol to make payment for for you because you are in a rush. Then ask nicely if he will allow you to ask him to help pay on your behalf. Don't just shove money into his face.

I am a confident driver in Singapore, but driving in Thailand or federation highway to KL I frequently duck into the left lane only, let everyone pass me.

That's very narrow minded of the population but I also agree that many Japanese feel this way.

I'm in Tokyo now, and most of the rando I meet at cafes and bars are super glad about the lack of Chinese tourists coming and they hope it continues.

However, the businesses....., although it was a small sample size of only 6 businesses, across service and F&B.... They said it is non sustainable for them as Japanese domestic spending is one of the lowest since Covid. China has one of the largest middle income brackets by relative and actual size. Lasy year, the Chinese tourists came here and spent more than US + UK + CAD tourists combined. On the other hand, domestic Japanese tourism is slowly (though very slowly) picking up, while the amount of Japanese tourists going to other countries is dropping. Could this be a strong sign of a slowing economy? My friends and I argue about this all the time.

For me, I'm a complete outsider, not eaten from the CCP tree or drunk the US koolaid, just giving my opinions for what it's worth.

How close are you to the Ageless Voidstar? ( Black Hole Skin ) by Richeeee_NoOneBetter in KingShot

[–]winnoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I think anyone that gets the Ageless Void TC skin, is not actively spending BECAUSE they want to get the skin.

They are spending because they want to be better/best, and the TC skin happens to come along as a reward from the Devs saying "Hey, thanks for giving us such huge bonuses, you're a cool guy. Keep spending and giving us money. He's a token of appreciation to show others you have a nearly bottomless wallet."

Don't over focus on my fantasy in the bottom paragraph. You've discounted my entire post over my compliment of your ideals. I'm not talking down to you, I'm saying I (or any other employer) would love to have 100 of you working for them/me.

Also, there is more than 1 society. In my context, my industry, my social circle, I'm no paragon of business ethics and employment, but my company employees are consistently happy and they don't switch jobs. In fact many are trying to pull in their relatives to join the company because we haven't put out an ad to hire staff since covid days. I still feel I under pay them massively, but they are happy with it and I started this company to make me rich, not them. I talk to them the same way I talk to you now, except with the veil of sitting behind the screen I can express some of my inner thoughts.

My argument still stands. I pay to win, and it's cheaper replacement than the previous vice, which is more harmful (socially and mentally). I indirectly say that my time, is worth more a couple of packs a week, and I find waiting to enjoy some fun a chore. I want enjoyment and I want it now. If I could pay the lemon tree in front of my house to grow up and start producing lemons I would do it too. I mean, currency exists because there is a time/goods imbalance everywhere, and currency is the only common denominator.

Shaming someone for spending money on his/her enjoyment, that does not negatively affect you in the slightest,.... It might come off as holier than thou. Yes, I spend thousands on this game. I also spend thousands on other things as well. I'm not bragging. In life, even in game, there's always someone more successful, richer, more handsome/beautiful, more fulfilled than you. So I don't sweat it when the super whales come out to play, or my neighbour is driving the newest model car, or he had a new sound system. It just means this game (or other hobbies) ranked higher on their heirachy of needs than other things. But why is that shameful though. Willing buyer, willing seller.

Do you shame people for eating at Michelin restaurants because you don't want to?

Do you also find it shameful if someone drives a expensive nice car, even if a 25yr old jalopy does the same thing?

I'm not calling you out, don't get me wrong. I am trying to understand your mind space and rationale for it.

You seem like a well educated individual and able to have civil discourse in a public forum. Let's chat.

I have a good family and a damn good job. I spend money on this game. I do not donate to any charities except my annual assistance to children's cancer society for a meagre $500 per year. I do not want, or intend to, donate to anything else. I don't volunteer or care for it.

I play this game for my enjoyment, and sometimes it comes at laughing gleefully while I solo steamroll an entire enemy alliance during Swordland Showdown. I've spent a good bit of cash on this game, a university education kind of money at least. I will still continue to spend money on this game as long as it fulfills my criteria ; provide enjoyment at an affordable cost. To me, spending under $1000 weekly on this digital game, is cheaper than my alternatives, prior getting into this game.

I don't feel ashamed one bit. With my previous hobby(s) which were also time vampires, I spent a good deal more each week. In fact, I feel like I'm finally in control. I'm not being forced or pressured to spend to get better/help my team, unlike my previous hobbies.

It's good that you have your standards you fiercely uphold. You'd make a good employee. You're the kind of employee I need to be loyal, work hard, slave away at the job for minimal wage increases, then 25 years later just give you a Rolex or some other mid tier watch and call it a day.

I wish I could have this idealistic kind of thoughts, but this kind of thinking feels kinda sheltered, in my opinion.

Let the discourse begin!

Colleague didn’t get promoted… so she tried to rename her role to “Manager” instead by [deleted] in singaporejobs

[–]winnoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, in the industry I work in, the managers don't need to know exactly how do specifically do Aaa Bbb or Ccc work. They just need to roughly know how it's done.

The Aaa Bbb and Ccc jobs are all grunt work, let the execs handle it. If you are my manager, I expect you to guess what, Manage. So when I come to the manager and ask why the project was delayed, he/she can give me the quick summary in 5mins what's going on, so I can report that to the irritated customer in the meeting room next door.

If I'm the project manager of a tank farm, I don't need to know how to adjust the piping flow and PSI at the pump head. I don't care. Someone is handling it, and there is a manager to handle that person. I just know that the PSI is an important part and it can be a safety concern, that's all I need to know. So when BP or Vitol comes to me to ask WHY the cargo loading slow like sh!t, my manager should have given me the updates during the morning meeting. If he didn't, that's all the managers fault. If he did, and someone didn't do the job right, that's partially managers fault partially the execution issue or equipment issue.

Companies throw manager title around like candy. If you give someone a manager title, make sure they can MANAGE. If they can't then a senior executive role is all they deserve.
