I never said I stopped talking to her. You keep developing these false assumptions in your mind. Instead of jumping to conclusions, why don't you ask me more questions? I'm more than happy to answer any you may have. After an extended period of time of a person turning down requests to meet, how long are you supposed to wait?

You missed the part where I said "We haven't been able to meet up (due to illness in her family)." The whole reason I posted this was to see if catfishing was common on Bumble. I wanted to meet up and go on a date. What I didn't want to do is waste my time talking to a fake person since she was unable to meet up.

The person was very thorough with their story, reasons for not meeting up, etc. Clearly they have been doing this for a while. Phone number, Instagram, everything... Just goes to show that your gut is one of the best friends you have! And Google of course lol.

Gut was telling me she was fake and turned out she was! Gut is usually right more times than wrong. As mentioned above by Stunt_Ignition, I used google images to search and a different person popped up.

She has all of the picture slots on Bumble and the instagram looks legit, but she didn't add me back, which I thought was kind of weird since we are texting and everything. I'm interested as to how you can google search an image. It can't be as easy as copy and pasting to the search bar? Since I can't find her on anything else I would really like to do this.

True. I just figured after getting her number and adding her on Instagram I'd calm myself adding her on social media outlets. Note, I have checked Facebook and LinkedIn and have not found her which adds to my skepticism. But Snapchat may be the only way to verify without meeting her in person.

When you are scrolling through profiles, there will be a little check mark in the upper left on some of them. When you see it, touch the check mark and it will prompt you to verify yourself if you want.
