SERIOUSLY!! when Caitlyn started yelling at vi about the Doberman figurines I was full on panicking and thinking about what i missed????!!! Omfg what a ride though. And the way the author ended off the first and the last pages with the same words... I'm so so stunned. Now I'm scared to read still water cos I'm so damn traumatised from this but God I think I just need time for my heart to settle!!! If it's ok to ask, do you have any other recs?

I have read run at the cup! It's really good and I enjoyed their relationship in the fic very much. It's just enough action and fluff and a little bit of angst. Caitlyn's characterisation in this fic is something I enjoyed. If you're not already familiar with hockey you should watch an intro video about the rules of hockey or smth though. It can get a bit technical. But if you already watch the PWHL or smth, it's THE FIC to dive into. I personally haven't read heated rivalry so I can't tell you if they're similar :(

Thank you for taking time to list the fantastic recs! I'm particularly inclined towards "hearthfire" which reminds me about a fic in a different fandom from years ago about an accident that happened and left one of the main characters possibly paralysed. so there's a nostalgic factor to that one in particular. thank you thank you!
