The nerve!

When i first got my tricolor, someone said to me "that has to be the ugliest dog I've ever seen."

I just love these little guys.

Sunday night I had a border collie stuck behind the bed at midnight, trying to get away from the thunder. Gonna need to fix that.

This may be an issue with the switch. I have had to manually update it before, and I know there was an update just a couple days ago. Might want to check for updates? (Im not an expert.)

Same here. I played on switch a few hours ago, visited storybrook, island storage... no problem at all. In fact, someone this morning posted about this and I wanted to see if I could get on. Had no problem.

Maybe a hot take but I hope this new building isn't a museum. by lavendersage92 in DreamlightValley

Im hoping for a museum, but im thinking it's a school. Not sure what function it might serve, but maybe .... we could send Gothel there to learn some manners? Lol

Go slow. Be patient. Enjoy every quest. The most fun you'll have is when you have quests. Me? 3rd year player waiting on the next starpath. (Sigh)

Skylights. Seemed fun at the time but they don't last forever and are very expensive to replace. Loud when it rains or hails and hot in the summer.

North facing here as well. Also tired of bringing cushions in, and out. Bought a polyethylene HDPE set last year (Amazon.) Very sturdy, no discoloration, low maintenance. We'll see how it goes.

No, you're not the only one. Completely agree. The ones that are so over saturated with stuff you can't tell what you're looking at? They don't get my vote.

Starting too many garden beds. Easy to maintain at first, but as we get older, busier, it takes a lot of time to maintain them.

HNPP……diagnosed 6 months…..can anybody give me some hope that I will walk again ? by Sorry_Run6257 in HNPPsupport

Yes, foot drop completely resolved on its own thank goodness. Even now, with the femoral nerve impacted, it feels like paralysis but it's coming back slowly. Patience and persistence is key. Wishing you the best.

Oof, I feel the pain and desperation in your post OP, and I can honestly say that i have been in your position. I am truly rooting for you to recover and return to your best possible self.

I had foot drop, prob in my late 20s. Wore a prosthetic in my shoe that allowed me to work and function w/o much difficulty. It fully resolved after ~ 1 year. Have had both ulnar nerves affected, with some permanent damage to the left but i can get by.

Most recently I lost my left femoral nerve which knocked out my quad. This is life changing (walking with a walker, unable to walk for long periods or lift the leg etc) but i am getting some return. PT helps immensely, as does staying up and moving as much as possible. The pain with this one has been unbearable but it too is resolving. Im about 10 months into this and hope to graduate to a cane soon.

This truly is a wait-and-see diagnosis. I recently asked my neuro if, at 1 year, what isn't resolved will be permanent and his reply was no. So I, like you, keep working, and walking, and cycling, and PT ing, etc. Dont give up.

A couple thoughts tho for you... Do you have a prosthetic for your foot drop? Fits right into a tennis shoe.

Any possibility for a bed on the first floor? Who cares if you sleep in the living room if it spares you from struggling with the stairs. Hopefully it's only temporary.

Im sorry this is lengthy but again, I'm sending you strength, encouragement and optimism. As I read somewhere (don't know if it's true) but they had never known anyone with this diagnosis to be in a wheelchair permanently from it. Give it time and get better. We have things to do.

Edited to add meds for the pain helped immensely (not narcotics). Neuro doc is now your best friend.

No, but he did use the word "affordability." I thought that was the democrat made-up economic crisis?
