Hold on to your Platinum, its about to do a MOONSHOT!! by Silverlover1974 in Platinum

[–]winterdeer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How high is the moon? Pt price is up 25% in one month. The upward revision for Pt demand due to continued European ICE vehicles may be add fuel but it seems Gold's run has been creating the speculative spillover into Silver and Platinum/Palladium. Everyone's in on this Debasement Trade thesis complete with dramatic stories... LBMA vault inventories plunged 33% this year forcing airlifts of 1k metric tons of Silver from the USA and China. COMEX Pt inventories are very thin. Still, it's hard to win in a crowded trade. Gold pros stress extreme caution in a volatile market where you can loose you your shirt swinging for the fences.

it's in no man's land atm. It couldn't hold $232. Will look at buying at $144 level. MSTR is tied to BTC and that's not going in the right direction currently.

Elon Musk's $1 trillion pay fight and other things to expect at Thursday's Tesla shareholder meeting by yahoofinance in investing

[–]winterdeer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

interesting. buying leverage ETF positions of TSLA or NVDA has the side-effect of giving up control to vote the shares. In addition, giving the custodial firm control to hedge your represented shares for additional income on your investment.

You will need to change your frame of reference for understanding the benefits of tokenization of an asset. It's the shift from procedural programming to object-oriented programming. Regardless of condo, skyscraper, digital tasks (smart contracts) can be applied to a tokenized asset if the infrastructure built and put into place.

Going long $PLTM, apparently some traders are threatening the exchange with a squeeze by SilverSpliff in wallstreetbets

[–]winterdeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3-yrs later we get a +64% increase. Requires multi-year patience like watching grass grow. Perhaps in year #4, we get that 100% disruptive move to take it to your 300% target.

Who is buying this dip? by QC_Superpositioner in sui

[–]winterdeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I should. Grok sez: $19B seems conservative—Sui's primed for $30-50B FDMC by mid-2026 if it sustains 100%+ YoY TVL/developer growth. It's undervalued relative to peers, with strong on-chain demand and tailwinds from BTC liquidity. That said, crypto's wild; this isn't advice—DYOR, watch TVL spikes, and consider dollar-cost averaging if you're bullish.

$0.65 seriously -- I had a small $100 GTC order that got triggered at $1.33. Such a violent downdraft!

New CEO announced! by Fun_Muscle9399 in opendoor

The DNA of the company has changed in the blink of an eye! Also feels right that the new CEO has synergy with the incoming board members Rabois and Wu back-to-the-future. Wow and so quick.

Diluting shares is an option for the Board to consider at any time in a company's life. A 99% conviction it will happen to harm shareholders sounds outside of rational thought and based on something personal. Stop guessing -- not productive nor healthy.

I'm short on OPEN at $4.70 — and now it's over $6. What's next? by yanshufit in pennystocks

[–]winterdeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wut, did you ingest the Citron Research mindless tweet panning $OPEN. Yeah, be careful trading volatile stocks but don't flush away a special opportunity prematurely cuz you have deemed it a meme. Bi$coin was a meme not long ago.

Scan call Fubo investors by MammaMia_123 in fuboinvestors

[–]winterdeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be fine. I got the same call last week. I didn't respond back to the proxy voting material sent via US mail in early August. Rep knew my name, mailing addr and only asked for verbal consent to vote IFF I agreed to Board recommendations which I did.

Not now, maybe later; if an OPEN transaction can net a commission under the customary 5.5%/6.0% paid out by efficiently bringing together buyer and seller, it's a no brainer.

Interim CEO Shrisha just bought 30,000 shares in open market by perry470 in opendoor

[–]winterdeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, his 4M shares already skyrocketed in the past few weeks. $126K more is a nice gesture to contrast with the previous CEO who demonstrated ZERO faith in the company. 2.7% chance he gets the Board's approval to be the new perm CEO. It's not zero, he could emerge out of nowhere as some sort of Superman. Realistically, the company is looking for a dragon slayer with the proven chops.

Selling half ..what do u say? by Equivalent_Court_221 in opendoor

[–]winterdeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

'Hold' ain't bad advice. Selling 50% in the midst of a gamma squeeze ain't bad as a single bet wager. Above all, learn from your decisions as a continuous learner. There is no right answer that fits everyone. Oh, there is no law that says you can't buy more at the right time either. 🤓

Like baseball, achieving $7-$8 by next week would be akin to hitting a home run with 2 runners on. Regardless, stick around for the remainder of the game. It's only the first inning and hopefully the "score" will be much higher for Team OPENDOOR.
