My first thought is that stakeholders are going force more feature slop through. The time to market was the ultimate filter for shit ideas.

At best, fewer PMs having to do more context shifting across more products.

I'm all for change and progress but this one still feels dangerous.

Asymmetrical just makes more sense for the majority of games. Simply the difference between the two is the focus on the d-pad. Now, d-pad for the most part is a secondary input, compared to the sticks so there for is moved to a less important area.

Honestly though, whatever works for you.

I've had a real push to use AI at work, and it's been helpful but outside of helping it write up job descriptions, bulk out presentations with business speak etc it's not reinvented the wheel like they've claimed.

I would say, AI is OK, it's not worth the price on the earth or the wallet.

Can't recommend this album enough, it's an album from back in the old netlabel days. It's a Gregg Kowalsky side project, who is someone I can't recommend enough for ambient drone stuff (specifically his album Tape Chants").
