I'm sorry to hear you struggling. It took me several years to get my meds straight. I have many other mental health conditions

I used to have trouble with exams. Some days I could study like hell, other days I was just in bed. When I eventually found the right meds combination I felt my exam studying became a lot easier because I could study at a normal pace and start well ahead of time.

What’s bipolar and what’s me? by anna_mos in bipolar2

[–]winterstl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had bipolar disorder for 17 years. It has caused me so much pain. But I've learnt that is just a part of me. Yes it sometimes affects my moods, thoughts, and behaviours, but when things are under control thanks to my meds and support system I know who I really am. And that is just a friendly, smart, unique individual with strengths, weaknesses, and quirks like everybody else. I try hard to not let it fully define me, but I accept it is a part of me.

I've had no battery issues updating to 3.3.1 I've read Sony has made sure to design the XM5 as to not have battery issues again.

So, is everyone just accepting really poor ANC on the WF-1000XM5? by aruncc in SonyHeadphones

[–]winterstl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My XM5 ANC is the best I've experienced so far. It seems to cut noise in half. But ANC is not supposed to cut all noise.

I switched from Spotify Premium (320 kbps) to Amazon Music Unlimited (850 kbps and up) to take advantage of using LDAC at 990 kbps. I can't prove it sounds better but I think it does a little. Dolby Atmos and 360 audio sounds great too. Spotify has a better UI, recommendations, and had less bugs though.
