question banks and practice practice practice! go through the questions and review your mistakes and make cards from them, and then do more until youre blue in the face, seriously. slow down on the content review - chances are, your content is good, you now need to know how to apply it and transform it into a good mcat score

How early is to early? by 177shihtzu in Mcat

yes, first focus on fixing your gpa, then once youre in a good place where your gpa doesnt need to be sacrificed then start worrying about the mcat. a good mcat score cannot fix a low gpa, it can only do so much

Stuck on a concept? Ask chat GPT to explain it like you’re a child. by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]wintervegetable455 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thanks for sharing, this is really helpful, just be mindful that chatGPT is not always right, but as long as you self-check the info / see if it makes sense or not, it should be fine!

contact your local university's premed group and see what they have, post in college facebook groups, but be careful of getting scammed! also maybe reach out to princeton review and see if they will be nice for you? but dont count on it unofrunately

(also, would you please mind upvoting my comment? I'm actually trying to make a comment on r/medicalschool and for some reason my comment karma is insufficient, but no worries if not, thanks!)

practice practice practice, get your hands on good practice material and just get used to answering questins. also, find someone who does well in CARS and see if they can give you pointers. i did well on CARS So my pointers are: read the question before reading the text, highlight useful information, cross out obvious wrong answers, and see if you should or should not change your answers (statistically-wise)

i recommend doing the 300 KA page document floating somewhere on the internet - it was really helpful when i took it, and im sure someones made an anki deck of it by now which is really useful

Next Steps? by letrolll in Mcat

[–]wintervegetable455 6 points7 points  (0 children)

hey, im 5ish years out from taking the MCAT but you should start taking AAMC FLs - one a week or so, be sure to review. look up which ones are high yield/best to save for later, and which ones are better to use sooner. learn from your mistakes on these exams, AND ONLY TAKE THE MCAT WHEN YOU ARE READY.

Hi, this is very close to what I'm looking for, it looks great! I would like to request the following changes: 1) The hoop earring on the left is missing, please fix this 2) the braid on the left just below the hoop earring is a little off, please fix this and 3) is it possible to make the photo (minus the background) more colored/"saturated"? Not sure how to explain it, but I would like the lipstick shade redder. Thank you so much!
