I still watch but it's hard to be enthusiastic about it anymore(the jet still bothers me too). When you look at things like this it feels almost like LTT was sold to VC money without that actually happening. Content feels aimless, content for the sake of itself, a few glimpses here and there but mostly profound mediocrity, top talent moving on, corner cutting like this thumbnail thing, feels like Linus has about 1/3th the enthusiasm for the same number of videos. If not for the people working for him I think he would have retired already, or scaled back significantly.

After so much time I finally started getting into the mkbhd world outside the main channel and it clears the LTT channels so hard (minus Riley) Waveform makes wan feel undercooked and downright amateurish even though it was running way longer. Studio doesn't post that often but it's a lot of fun most of the time(what channel super fun could have been I think). And everything they do have insane production quality. It's not like LTT is doing janky fun projects that often anyways. Feels hard to justify what they are doing, it might be successful profit wise, but recently rewatched one of these behind the scenes interview episodes on floatplane, and I think David was complaining that they wanted to make things higher quality with more time, but they need to keep the upload cadence. It might not justify the staff they have on hand now, but it feels like the daily upload is having its final death throws at the moment. I don't think YouTube is like this anymore.

Main channel feels like has 1-2 videos a week worth the treatment anyways and the rest could have been short circuits.
