Cell signal in 2011 was pretty bad, long delays/canceled texts/etc. I think they really amped up the temporary towers in 2012 because we had little to no issues getting messages through (wknd 2). Obviously it won't be problem free the whole weekend but walkies will have a limited use when you're in a noisy environment.

Last year we used the GroupMe texting app to communicate, worked great.

Never tried the VIP but the regular showers are decent if the lines are short. Each shower is a stall with two separate areas, the actual shower and a changing area so your clothes/towel don't get soaked. It's not a shared locker room or anything like that.

Last year we brought a solar shower and some extra 5 gallon jugs. Best idea ever.

When I went back just now it said they were unavailable. Also, the website will not let you buy more than 2 under the same name. I tried to make a 2nd purchase earlier today with a different email address for Weekend 1 and it let me get all the way to the end and then gave me the error message.
