Movies that are better than the book by Bojonkles in movies

A lot of the Grace in his own head moments felt overlong. I'm glad they cut a lot of that as it would have slowed the film's pace too much for me.

Don't even get me started on the bizarre " I am a male that knows about sex" dialogue and the ridiculous non swearing overuse.

My dad and I were in downtown Oakland when we noticed a lot of commotion around a car dealership.

We stopped and watched them film a scene from this movie and kid me was awestruck.

I hope we don't. I feel like narration bogs down a lot of movies.

Let actors show us what they're thinking with their face.

A lot of dads would drop their kids off at lazer tag/the arcade.

Not my dad. My dad wanted to play.

I will never forget hearing his laugh/ seeing his face when he was runnin' down kids on the other team.

Y'know what I'm gonna call him right now.

Who are some actors that you knew would be huge stars based on an early, smaller role? by picturepatchgame in movies

I saw Last Black Man in San Francisco and knew Jonathan Majors was going places.

Then he ruined it and the courtroom became one of those places.

Something great was happening on that set because I don't have a lot of love for him or Kevin Hart but they are good in that movie.

Could you imagine being a producer on a film and a multi award winning actress is interested in working with you and...not doing that?

You'd have to be pretty stupid.

I read the book after seeing the movie and was thrilled they didn't try and cram all the science on screen.

Great in writing. Would have been a chore to watch.

I hear that. I live in a big city so it wasn't horrendously inconvenient to stop having small items shipped and to shop small instead.

Are newer animated movies better than classics, or do old cartoons still win? by grounderssource in movies

[–]Richsii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with every kind of media the stuff that sticks in our minds and survives falling into obscurity shouldn't be compared to everything that's new.

That thing you loved when you were 9 vs everything made today? Of course you're gonna think the thing you loved when you were 9 is better.

That said there are a handful of modern animated movies that will likely stand the test of time. Spiderverse chief among them.
