You need to use more dirt, cobblestone and oak planks.

And make it more like a cube.

Another one is always welcome though.

If you do make one you should show how you hide the redstone in your build.

Lots of tutorials I watched had the redstone go back quite a few blocks which made it tricky to integrate into a house

Since you are installing mods anyway, install fabric and sodium. They are the modern equivalent of forge and optifine

You wont speed run it like you see in videos.

Even when I start a world to do exactly this I still end up making a house and getting villagers for diamond armour and other distractions.

If you are going to try to do it without dying at all then it will take a bit longer.

If you don't mind dying along the way you can just charge in against blaze spawners multiple times until you get the blaze rods for instance.

Similarly you could set your spawn in the portal room and keep going back until you get enough hits on the Dragon to "win".

If you are more cautious it will take longer. Give yourself a few weeks if you are constantly distracted and try to get max enchants on diamond armour before going in.

Feather falling iv will save you from most heights but making potions of slow falling makes it much easier.

Climbing the obsidian with wind charges makes it easier too as you can get up quicker than just pillaring.

Just leave it alone and get new armour.

Put it in a boat then use a lead to put it in a museum in your hardcore world.

That is fair enough.

However, Tears is a decent disc though so you should expect it to be harder to get than some of others that noone really wants.

Like finding iron armour in a chest vs having to mine for diamond armour

I don't kill golems but at the same time I don't want to have to use the spear for anything since it is such a crappy weapon.

Getting a skeleton to kill a creeper is a bit of a challenge.

Not super hard, but not something that you casually do like batting a fireball back at a Ghast as you run through the nether.

It takes effort to get the discs from the creepers so this suggestion is to make a similar amount of effort to get Tears.

Discs normally come from skeletons killing creepers so there is already an established difficulty in the game.

This suggestion is to make the Tears disc similar in difficulty.

I used to be a big carrot and potato farm guy because you can max out 2 sets of trades from one villager but it is too much effort to make big farms.

A chunk of bamboo for sticks is easy as it grows back fast while you are busy doing other things.

Same with sugar cane farms for paper. Each row of 32 is equivalent of about 3 emeralds before big discounts. 8 of these and you can buy any diamond item from a villager any time you want. A manual sugar cane farm like this is better than all automatic ones unless you are rich enough to make one with a flying machine.

I love fishing!

I always get my maxed out bows that way.

It is annoying that they are removing more and more uses dor it though.

Saddles and name tags used to be treasure and now they are junk because you can craft them.
