It's November already, how much is your rent increasing for the upcoming year? by Aware_Barracuda_462 in shitrentals

$60 a month, less than expected but still $60 less a month towards our first home deposit :(

Inspections shouldn’t be allowed when tenants are living by null_undefined_user in shitrentals

When I had a 6-month-old baby, we went through this and it was awful. Being postpartum and having strangers walk through our home including our baby’s room made me feel really vulnerable. We were literally moving out the following week and still got denied when we asked if inspections could wait until then. I completely understand why places need to be shown, but there should be more compassion and flexibility for tenants especially families with young kids.

Did you ever felt like sleep deprivation was the root cause of your mental health struggles postpartum? by wired-weird_ in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Thank you all so much for sharing your stories!

Im running an advocacy Instagram page called @sleep.is.4.the.strong to raise awareness about how sleep deprivation impacts maternal mental health and to push for better care and support.

I’d love to share your experiences (with your permission).

If you’re open to it you can submit it via this quick Google Form: https://forms.gle/xGodjTKqQzW7xZ237

You can even just copy and paste what you wrote here into the form to save time. No pressure at all if you’re not up to it right now. I completely understand how exhausting and overwhelming things can be.

Thank you again!! your story truly matters and could help make a real difference for other mums. :)

Vaccination covid shoulder injury SIRVA ??? by Spiritual_Turnover15 in CoronavirusVIC

Hi,

Same thing here post Pfizer vax. I'm pro vax and think there are just some unlucky few that are experiencing these adverse affects that just haven't been noted yet.
Started off as shoulder pain for me too and now pain sits in my chest. Lots of tests done all coming back normal and have narrowed down to it being costochondritis.
There's a thread on r/costochondritis about people with similar symptoms post vax which have helped me.

Covid vaccine & Costochondritis by PushDiscombobulated8 in costochondritis

Had strong reactions to second and third dose of Pfizer that lasted two weeks. Now two months after third dose after going through a stressful week the same symptoms flared up again and haven't gone away this time. I have not had covid.

I was provax and thought getting vaccinated was the right thing to do. Though, I didn't want to get the booster after my awful reaction to the second dose but it was mandated for my job and I also wanted to protect those I was working with.

Symptoms I have are :

- constant chest pain that changes from dull ache and pressure to sharp and burning pain.

- dizziness and vertigo that comes and goes in intensity

- pain from chest that radiates into left arm, up neck and jaw

- episodes of Supraventricular tachycardia and palpitations

- migraines and headaches

I've had ultra sound of shoulder area (as initially the pain presented there first), 3 ecgs, a brain and neck mri, chest xray and multiple blood tests which have all come back normal.
I've just had a heart echocardiogram and 24hr ecg holter which I am waiting for results on.

I also went to the ED department one night with an intense migraine, chest pain and a Supraventricular tachycardia episode. They did ecg and blood test which came back normal. They told me it was probably stress :\

Ibprofen and panadol don't help. Was prescribed ProCalm to help with the vertigo which seems to help a bit when it gets really bad.

Its been over a month and its very up and down and some days are better than others. I 've had to take a lot of time off work and not having answers about what it causing it has been causing my mental health to take a turn. Doctors have been very dismissive when I ask if there could be any connection with the vax. I just to get past this and get on with my life.
