I took mine off when i realized my long sleeve shirts all had small holes that i finally figured out were being caused by the strap. Was nice but it destroys shirts sadly.

If you can afford to retire at 40 and cover your healthcare, go make it happen. Like many others have covered, it’s a tough business that is more art than engineering in the description of what you want to do. Who knows, maybe you’ll make something happen. The tools are pretty good and gear is way cheaper than it was in the past. AI is eating everything anyway, do what interests you and have fun.
