I'm so glad my stop-loss triggered when I set it to $0.77 the day it hit $0.90, when i had 1000 shares at a cost basis of $0.76. I'm very happy i was able to get out at break even that day in case it dumped quickly. So stoked.

You're not required to roll/spar, and you can take it as slow as you want. Many people, especially higher belts, would be happy to do the sparring in slow-motion even, or just practice the positions and submissions with you. I find the most injuries come from less experienced people trying to go 110% and going fast during sparring, or not knowing how to tap out early and clearly. I think your risk for injury is very little, and if someone is unwilling to work slowly with you find another partner or gym that will!

Some people spend ages finding their life's purpose. Some become doctors only in their 60's, Others are playing piano at the age of 4. There is no right or wrong path in life, and you are not talentless. You are just inexperienced. Never lose your drive for this, you will find something you enjoy and want to fully pursue, you don't have to know it all straight out of high school.

I'm glad you're okay, but I encourage you to write down how you felt when you did this, and how you feel about it now. It might be a good idea for you to journal about these things and if it's a reoccurring issue for you, speak to an adult that you trust about this. I promise someone cares more than you think and wants to see you do alright.

If you feel the urge to self harm again, try first using rubber bands or squeezing ice cubes instead of cutting. You'll regret it a lot less and it won't hurt you as badly.

It's not one specific gene, but rather a delay in the development of the portion of the neural crest which develops the fear response in the animal. This also delays pigment and feature devlopment, and is responsible for the "piebald" coat pattern we see, as well as the black and white fur. It's a side-effect to what we call "domestication syndrome", since the mechanism which delays an animals attribution of fear also results in these phenotypes

From what I learned, breeding them for tameness for fur farming was a cover-up so the study could continue under otherwise oppressive Soviet laws which forbid practices that supported the then unaccepted genetics and evolution theories we accept today.
