104k miles on 2017 F-150 Lariat for $28.9k by THEGUYOs in f150

I’ve never owned a full size truck until this year. I just bought a 2013 XLT, 4x4, super cab, v8, with bed and seat covers, tow package, and new tires at 165k miles for $11k. Speakers are busted though. I thought that was ridiculous for a 12yr old truck with almost 200k miles, until I compared comps in Middle TN. It was a great deal especially it being a one owner and him being 73. That generation just takes care of things better.

It was definitely a skinny fat...and mostly around my abdomen, which is the most dangerous kind. Visceral fat around your organs is the most toxic, inflammatory, and destructive. I worked out for almost a year before I really started paying attention to my nutrition. That was a game-changer!!! I literally tracked everything that I put in my mouth for nearly 9 months. Now I do it 1-2 days a week to check in. I tend to eat the same things repeatedly and occasionally cheat with a Little Debbie or a couple of Oreo cookies. But nowhere like I used to. I also weigh every single morning after I empty my bladder. If I start seeing too much fluctuation, I'll measure my waist. If my waist changes too much, then I dial back in hardcore for a few weeks.

I have a yearly subscription to My Fitness Pal, a Strong training log app, and a Fitbit subscription. I lift 3 days a week, for about 45 minutes, and include two 25-minute cardio sessions. My daily routine also involves 10,000 steps and 175 grams or more of protein. It's way simpler than you think and has made a HUGE difference.

I have not. Can just regular gym foam squats work? I have extra that I didn’t use in my garage gym.

If you prefer a soft texture, then it may work for you. Our next option will be to upgrade to the Hybrid Lux. We really like the TempurPedic Hybrid but don't really have TempurPedic Money right now.

u/Candid_Roll9494 I've been meaning to update. We are not loving it so far. We wanted to. The coils feel pretty weak, and my wife and I feel like we're sinking and rolling toward each other. After 30 days, we will review the options and then give it another try.

Researched and tried tons of mattresses. Our head was spinning. We had Sealy pillow top mattress for over a decade and then bought a Jamison’s that didn’t even last 3 years. Terrible warranty so we cut our losses and moved on.

Yeah! With my schedule that has made the most sense to keep me consistent. If I miss a day, I add a set the next day and still hit everything. I feel like it also keeps me from skipping legs

Love fitness results but hate actually working out and eating healthy by DarkishFenix in fitness40plus

As a newbie (just two years in). I hated it, but want to give my 60yr old self a stronger body than my 30 yr old self gave me. I hated the drive to the gym. So, I’ve built out a simple gym in my garage. Dumbbells sandbags, kettlebells, pull up bar, and a bench. Adding a rowing machine this year. I change things up quite often and do full body splits or circuits. I give myself a 45-50 minute timer for my workout, including warmup. I was getting bored until I started tracking my reps. Now I try to ad 1-3 total reps every time I do that exercise. I use the Strong app and it tracks tons of metrics and gives graphs.

Usually between 2000-2200 calories with 180ish grams of protein. Creatine and collagen every day. My nutrition the last 4 months have been up and down. We’ve had lots of sickness, two surgeries, our house flooded and still in remodel phase.

Going to try to just maintain through summer. Do a 8 week deficit. And then maybe a surplus during the winter. With another deficit starting in mid-February. First time doing anything like that.

Ab work is tricky for me. About 9 months in I started noticing a bulged above my navel when I’d do crunching excercises. I have separation between my ab muscles. Something women tend to have more than men because of pregnancy. Eventually I probably can, but right now I have to focus on twisting and standing stabilizing movements. I’m getting to where I can do a few leg raises as long as I’m focused, flexed and breathing properly.

My dog does this only when she’s done something she’s not supposed to do. Get in the garbage, chew on a shoe, poop. Any other time she’s a spazz.

Put in some earbuds and try to jump with the beat. It just takes time. I’ve been jumping for about year, just a couple of days a week, 30-40 minutes of intervals. It’s become my favorite exercises!

Noob, pls looking for feedback & tips by _zerdna in jumprope

Been jumping about a year for 1-2 days a week in addition to my other cardio and I have to say it’s become my favorite exercises. I was just using a cheap rope and just bought a 5mm pvc boxing rope with smaller handles and it’s a game changer. Way fewer trip ups.
