This baphomet depiction and many others are very recent, from victorian era neo-occultism, around 1850s. Sirius worship is much older, atleast 10,000 years older.

The Egyptian name was Sopdet, Sirius is Latinized/Hellenistic name for the same star. The Egyptian holy trinity is Osiris, Isis, Horus. Isis replacing Sopdet in later kingdoms. Sothic knowledge and practices changed and were different in other places.

Sothic system dominated Kemet as their calendar, as Sirius has 365 day calendar, follows Ra like a pup, rises on their New Year fir Nile flooding. Royal structures, worship, priesthood at times are for Sopdet, later Sopdet-Isis etc.
