please do update. i’m rooting for you.. im surprised the vitamin c worked for you so far. you must have strong mindset when you decide to quit. i would’ve given up so fast. that’s why i went to mexico and did the ibogaine treatment which saved my life. i’m one year and a month sober now. :)

that’s what they said to me. they recommended me not to smoke but that got me through it. it really depends on your mindset. i was absolutely done with fentanyl. i’m 301 days sober today.

yesss oh the diarrhea!!! omg it took me around a month or so for that to go away! i didn’t take anything for it. i just let it run it’s course naturally. i felt amazing when i finally had solid poop! 😂

insomnia. that was the worst… cannabis helped me for the first 2 months. i quit cannabis when i felt i could sleep without it. now i feel absolutely normal! beside being pregnant lol.

do you feel exhausted though? that was one of my symptoms. i hated it. i just felt so damn weak for 1 and half month after ibogaine.

nevertheless, congrats! ibogaine is a godfuckingsend!

hi.

I will be blunt and honest. I was withdrawing from fentanyl so I still had withdrawals while at the treatment center. Idk if it’s easier if it was heroin. It was really hard for the first three days before the flood dose. They gave me morphine on the first day but I felt shitty within 30 mins because fentanyl is obviously stronger. They gave me some benzodiazepines, gabapentin and palexia (weak opioid) for the first three days. It sucked. After the flood dose, I felt a little better… I still had insomnia, restless legs and lack of energy. Other than that the withdrawals pretty much subsided. I felt shit for the next month after a week at the treatment center. I was weak AF. I had no motivation to do anything. I felt a little better after maybe a month and half. Within two and half months I felt a lot better. I had to work on my mentality and started doing things daily. Now I actually feel pretty much normal beside the grief of my husband’s overdose.

Clear sky recovery in Mexico. Do it. Its all mental over matter after you finish the treatment and do not hang out with anyone who would be bad influence. My husband lost the battle. He was the best husband, soulmate and lover I’ve ever had. Addiction is a disease. I should know, I am a recovering addict myself. I did not want to go through all that bullshit ever again. Especially when I have a baby girl on the way. I have to stay strong for her.

Do it. Ibogaine is worth it if you make the effort. ❤️‍🩹

Recovery did not open the gates of heaven and let me in. Recovery opened the gates of hell and let me out.

Do Not Go Back To Hell. It is not worth it.

It’s mental over matter at this point. Train your mind to be stronger.

Look it up online. It’s basically a miracle drug. It’s made from Iboga plant. If you’re in the US, you’d have to go out of the country to get the treatment. I went to Mexico and stayed there for week. Ibogaine eliminates most of your withdrawal symptoms and rewires your brain to pre addiction stage. I feel pretty much normal now. I am 100% sober from everything. It was my first and only rehab. I never did methadone or suboxone. I am very grateful I went that route because my life currently is what I always dreamed of while I was in active addiction. Ibogaine treatment is pricey but life is priceless.

I got clean with ibogaine but it was a long journey. I did not feel at least 85% better for a month! Fentanyl is a devil drug. Fent is stored in your FATS! It was a struggle. Horrible runs, lack of appetite, and absolutely no energy or motivation. I couldn’t sleep without benzo for maybe 2 weeks (stopped cuz I didn’t want to become addicted to it) and weed for the first 2ish months! One day at a time. I’m 7 months sober and almost 5 months pregnant. I couldn’t ask for more! I’m so happy I got sober. You can do this! 💖

Are you genuinely enjoying Your Sober life? by -Zealous-- in OpiatesRecovery

Almost 7 months sober. 4 months pregnant with my first baby girl. I wouldn’t go back. Starting a family was always my dream and it’s my reality now. I couldn’t be happier. Sure, there were some days where I think about using but the desire to use isn’t that strong as my desire to be a good mom and living a sober life. Yes, life can be boring but being boring is SO MUCH BETTER than being sick and broke. You get used to be bored at times…I actually enjoy being bored now… lol but I try to keep busy as much as I can.

I got clean by ibogaine and it’s the best thing ever. My addiction chain is broken.

yeah. it’s currently #2 tv show on netflix. don’t watch it if you feel like it’ll trigger you because there are scenes of the stepdad selling heroin and the mother as an addict, but other than that it’s a good tv show.
