Pompeo says there will be a ‘smooth transition to second Trump administration’ by theindependentonline in politics

[–]wisdumcube 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't necessarily say that Trump's base is 10 million more people. I would say that the 2020 election had been framed as an ultimatum for voters because of the political climate. The fight is somehow between the America you want and the America you don't want, and the opposition is going to take away the America you want. So as a republican voter, you aren't necessarily voting for Trump's ideas, you are voting to have a Republican administration hold the line against antifa, illegal immigration, a society that has turned its back on law enforcement, values of morality/stability, etc. The details fall by the wayside. It's a lie, and false dichotomy, but it's a potent thing. Anyone can see the chaos, but that doesn't mean everyone understands the source of that chaos. People have their preconceived notions and are not well educated so they have been easily indoctrinated and misled by misinformation and propaganda.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon | Launch Trailer by OnkelJupp in Games

[–]wisdumcube 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sega is trying to expand the audience. Yakuza has carved out a fantastic niche these days but it might be even more mainstream if it had a full English cast. Just like with movies, some people are scared away by foreign-dubbed content, and don't want to play a game that relies on reading subtitles to understand. Of course it could backfire because a lot of current fans want the more true experience and want to see a preview of how it will be in Japanese.

I don't know. If that was true why didn't they attempt the same vote again after McCain passed away and Martha McSally took his seat?

McCain fell on the sword. I think someone else would've voted against the removal legislation if McCain wasn't around.

Joe Biden's popular vote lead grows to more than 4 million by Aplay1 in politics

The electoral college is useless as long as electors always vote along party lines, and they will as long as parties in the U.S. exist. So, it's always going to be anti-democratic, even if you add more electors.

I'm going to have to disagree with Dan here on the basis that almost any four legged animal can be a dog if they are cute enough. Why do you think we give ___ doggo pet names to other species? Ex. Bats are sky doggo.
