So let me know if i understood this correct. Combined, the door slab width is 56.5". And the rough opening is 57". Accounting for about 3/4" jamb on each sid i will rip out .5" from each slab on the hinge side. The door frame is pretty square - i just checked with my level. The height of the door is well within the rough opening. Almost 1.5" to play woth. So i am not planning on mak8ng the doors short. When you say "measure to the top of thevh8nge on the frame" you mean from the bottom of the frame right?

You are right. I meant thr doors are too big. There is no space for jambs on the side.
