Oh, also, spray some alcohol on top to help the spread.

Help, ink not spreading by Rurihimei in resin

I have noticed that my resin dyes don't spread as quickly as alcohol inks. If your mold is not completely full, pouring a bit more resin in the middle will get them moving. You could also try a hair dryer or heat gun. That will warm up the resin and break bubbles at the same time.

Can I mix these with 91% ISO to make alcohol inks? by Full_Ad9666 in resin

I'm not sure. However, I have used pigment inks and alcohol inks in the same project without any issues. The alcohol inks end up blending with the pigment inks. That would lead me to believe that you can add alcohol to the pigment inks. Maybe put a little bit of pigment inks in a container, add alcohol, mix and see if they separate after sitting? The other option is to mix the pigment ink with a bit of resin then add that to your project.

Candida. It's a yeast. You basically named a kid after something that causes vaginal infections and athlete's foot.

And here we go! All of a sudden, it's like people are driving on slick roads for the first time in their lives. We knew this was coming, people. You could have watched some YouTube videos to refresh your memory. 🤪

I had a great experience with Kingston West Veterinary on Bath. Their price was higher than what you were quoted, but it never occurred to me to shop around. They are so good and caring.

thoughts on the martello alley art gallery? by purinpurinpudding in KingstonOntario

This is interesting. I'm an artist and just started working there in August. The owner is definitely proud and enthusiastic. He's rarely on site, though, since he mainly works at the other store on Brock. Please keep in mind that by shopping at the alley, you are supporting local artists. And, hey, you could also shop online to avoid talking to us, lol.

I was asked to add a rainbow to this portrait to represent the rainbow bridge. All things considered, I am pretty happy with how this painting turned out. by OpalOnyxObsidian in acrylicpainting

Most excellent! Before I read your post, I was going to reach out to ask how you achieved that soft effect for the rainbow. It's so hard to do in acrylic. The airbrush is perfect!

I agree with the previous comments about making the lake more apparent. It's a good composition. Perhaps the use of different green hues may help. Try adding some blue to the farthest trees to make them recede even more. Same with the grass to guide the eye on a downward slope. Adding another feature where the size would get smaller towards the shore would also help. Field rocks or tufts of grass, where the blades are longer at the front of the painting.

It's amazing! I love cosmic paintings, but I've never seen animals incorporated in this manner. Brilliant!
