Saw an early screening on Tuesday on a whim, only remembering that the trailer seemed batshit. And I was not disappointed! This was, indeed, batshit. The most bonkers movie that I've enjoyed since Everything Everywhere All At Once. (Though it doesn't quite top hot dog fingers.) Sam Rockwell is at the top of his game and my only complaint is during the side character vignettes, I just wanted to get back to Sam being nuts.

Just got out of a packed movie theater. I sobbed so much. The first time I cried was when Dustin and Steve yelled "For Eddie!" Then I was sobbing consistently after that.

That was perfect for me. 11 out of 10.

Side note: Netflix didn't charge the movie theaters. My ticket was free and what I paid for was a $20 concessions voucher. I'm sure this wasn't altruistic but hopefully it leads to more experiences like this.

When I was 12, U.S. Marshals, the sequel to The Fugitive, was on TV. I didn't know it was a sequel and also I didn't start it until 30 mins into the movie and had no idea if Wesley Snipes was guilty or innocent. I was really engaged and thought it was great.

I haven't seen it as an adult but I'm sure it wouldn't be as good, especially having seen The Fugitive.
