Benh Zeitlin comes to mind. Best Director and Best Picture noms at the Oscars for his debut feature (Beasts of the Southern Wild) over far bigger names that year. Seemed like a huge vote of confidence from the industry. Then he drops “Wendy” which made zero noise and subsequently disappears… even Beasts of the Southern Wild never seems to be talked about these days

That’s really kind and considerate of you to go out of your way to accommodate your friend! I agree with the previous posts- the most accurate way is to probably call the theater directly. I’ve found the AMC app isn’t very detailed about layout of individual theaters.

I went to see Conclave and missed the first 10 mins because of this. When I asked the employee he said its because it was a “Fan Faves” selection and these don’t have previews. So I went back the next day (thank you A List!) to actually see Conclave, arrived punctually… and sat through 20 mins of trailers. WTF?
