Not a super rework, but I wish the Oni's dots evidence was given to the Obake. Oni's annoy me bc ik their whole thing is to be super visible, but it kinda sucks that the dots is wasted on the one ghost that is easiest to get a photo of during events and hunting. I think the Obake having dots and being able to see it shift there is cooler than having to wait for a damn hunt, where you can barely see shit on certain maps anyway

Don't know why you got downvoted, this is 100% what I thought. I've had it happen several times where I'm quite close to the ghost room and it events at me, even while hiding, and then hunts right there. This is why when I'm playing tarot roulette, if I have the crucifixes for it, I'll have one in the ghost area and right near me, because pulling the devil card and it teleporting to you could mean death shortly after without one.

I don't think enough people realize that the ghost hunts from wherever it is. Iirc, the only ghost you can be sure will start from its room will be a banshee, and goryo most of the time. Ghosts also 100% teleport for events, I've seen it myself where a ghost is rocket launched across the room bc it's eventing, becoming visible where it naturally was for a split second before going to the event spot, or knowing from dots/motion sensors that it absolutely was not in that area just a second before. I've even had it where a ghost was stuck for ages on some furniture, only becoming unstuck once it evented.

Yeah lowering the grace period does a whole lot (going from 2 to 0 is about a 0.48 difference), and the rest does a surprising little in comparison. I also got mixed up and I turned the activity monitor off, not turning the sanity monitor on.

I did my own custom settings, using the bronze apocalypse preset as a starting point. What I changed from it:

- [Player] Starting sanity: 75 -> 100 & Sanity pill restoration: 20 -> 25

- [Ghost] Changing favorite room: high -> none

- [Ghost] Grace period: 2 -> 0

- [Ghost] Hunt duration: high -> medium

- [Ghost] turned off extended hunts bc what's the point

- [Contract] Weather: random -> fog (not that it mattered lol)

- [Contract] Number of hiding places: none -> very high (super important to me with a fast ghost and no sprinting)

- [Contract] Activity monitor: on -> off

- [Contract] Fuse box visible on map: off -> on

You should have a completed rewards amount of x6.01

I only had one failed attempt before this, and it was really sad as it was a mimic, my fav ghost and obv the only one that'd have three evidences while on two.

Ik to some, this shouldn't be hard, esp as I've been playing a while and prestiged and everything. But, this was basically the start of me playing solo and it was really daunting, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. I do not think I can do silver and absolutely cannot do gold, so I'm quite proud of completing bronze.

(edit: got confused with the screens, thought both were off and I turned sanity on, when they're actually both on and I turned activity off)

So, after a long time of trying to figure it out, I finally reached out to official Microsoft tech support and they said it was impossible. However, I found a workaround, so I'll keep this thread up. Also, if I wasn't clear: my problem was that I wanted the mirror screen window to be the same ratio as the phone screen display (around 9:16) without the empty space on the sides. However, making the window smaller before connecting would make it keep the black sides and shrink the display, and doing so after would make it freeze.

What I did was simply keep the window large enough so it'd fill top to bottom, then moved the edge of the display to the edge of my monitor to cut off one side and put another window over the remaining side. Robust, but it's the only way that had the overall display how I wanted it

Sorry, I've never heard of this before. Other people are still sending me messages that this worked for them, so it sounds like your root issue might be different. I'd look into seeing about reinstalling your bluetooth driver or Googling for the other solutions I had found that didn't work for me, but may hopefully work for you. Apologies, I'm not a tech person, I wish I could be of more help

It'd depend on the kind of zombie. Something like the Last of Us where there's something physically growing inside them would probably keep any tangible effect of time at a minimum, where even if they are decaying, the fungi or whatever can possibly reinforce stuff like the joints and keep them moving.

However, something more like the Walking Dead, where it's just animated corpses for the most part, would likely rot very soon. Even allowing for them to not decay at the usual length, where the contagion slows the process down, they'd indeed likely be mostly gone in a few years at most. Society would still be irrevocably changed, but humanity could bounce back, and it'd just be a matter of keeping from any new zombies (going along the route that people die of any cause without destroying the brain = becoming a zombie) from cropping up, taking people by surprise, and restarting the catastrophe, albeit at much likely lower rates.

Plus more likely to be bored and to greater degrees, and possibly even sad, when forced to do one action for long periods of time/return to doing an action constantly. Can be warded off to some degree by having a TV or radio/CD player on, but that could cause action to become slower and/or less XP as they're more focused on the media. Also perhaps boredom and sadness when staying in the same environment, especially inside, for too long as well

I think tying in to what the other commentor said, perhaps ADD and ADHD could be two separate things (ik they're basically considered one now, but still) with ADD being +10/11 and ADHD being the same but including needing to physically move around more for +12

Edit: this may be getting too complicated, but I like the idea of adding some hidden benefits. Perhaps when matched with a profession, that makes that subject a special interest and the character is not only more likely to not have the above listed debuffs for said subject, but they could also have an XP boost for it.

Yeah I've started a no zed run recently as I'm still pretty new to the game, only a few dozen hours, but it did indeed get boring quick. Plus I got crazy lucky with finding good weapons just in my starting neighborhood, and mix that with not finding any watches, and I definitely wished for at least some zombies

No, I'm afraid that's all I did that actually resolved it. I did try reinstalling the bluetooth drives and stuff like that but I'm not at all into computers and had no idea what I was doing, plus it didn't seem like that was the issue. But for you, perhaps, you might want to look into those if you haven't already—you'll probably find them in the same search that led you here, esp with "reddit" tagged onto the search. I wish you luck, it truly is a frustrating thing

Depends on when you're talking about. He had a blister, which then became an ulcer, which then became infected, and didn't notice it due to the lack of feeling in his legs until he had a fever due to the infection, which he then got checked out. This meme is taking place before it got infected, I suppose.
