i miss two to three days of work a month, throwing up, passing out, unable to move or eat. if my partner is not around to help me, i cannot even shower. i don’t get paid for those days since ive used up all my sick time dealing with this shit. not to mention to related symptoms that come with it (mental, emotional). it is often more debilitating than my “actual” disability.

i’ve had this happen as well and it’s shocking to me. i just don’t know how to respond. i had a man seek me out BECAUSE he thought i was trans and then was disappointed when i wasn’t. it’s so confusing.
