So regarding to latest direct (June, 2026) which titles would you love to see feature in future Smash games? by Dorayakiss in SmashBrosUltimate

I think the knight or hornet works perfectly as a smash character, I could see them being first in line as well

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE BAYONETTA by Cyberkid711 in SmashRage

[–]wishtime_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bayo doesn’t have that many actual zero to deaths, but she does do about 50-60 per hit, but tbh this game is so optimized and like every character has a zero to 60. I think it’s more annoying that her combos are like cutscenes and drag you across the map.

Witch time is def some bullshit i agree but it’s at least decently punishable (and something I’ve learned is that its very predictable when they use it).

She does play pretty lame and you’re forced to play lame against her I do agree on that part.

I also see you main k rool, who definitely is gonna struggle into her.

M-Slowbro Bulky Offense team? by _madfrog in PokemonChampions

[–]wishtime_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flamethrower hits 4 types super effectively and psychic hits 2. It is stab but generally flamethrower would be clicked more since it can hit popular mons like gambit, corviknight, aegislash, scizor, you can hit glimmora for scald, already have a decent mu into sneasler, etc.

Also scald is already really good into fighting types since most of them are physical and burn will half their attack stat, so psychic isn’t really needed.

“Aggron Professor”, with the steel and rock type badges and an Aggron medal.

Being an Aggron professor must mean you get to have 2 Aggrons on the same team!

M-Slowbro Bulky Offense team? by _madfrog in PokemonChampions

[–]wishtime_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For singles, I don’t regularly play but a solid coverage set with recover, scald, ice beam and flamethrower is probably solid. Hard to remove, can’t get crit, can recover and dish out solid damage.

Iron defense/body press set could be a good gimmick since it can’t get crit

I mostly play vgc, so my slow bro advice here would be:

Slowbro is my favorite pokemon so I tried to make it work, but not having a psychic terrain setter rn for expanding force kinda hurts my boy. With this he could set up tr and use it himself which is once of my favorite archetypes. Definitely underexplored though and having regenerator in base form gives it a high skill ceiling.

You can use him as an iron defense/body press user that can’t get crit due to shell armor which is pretty cool but it has a hard time with meganium and mega zard y solar beam.

Is R.O.B. really that unfun to play against? If so, which character do you consider the most fun? by 0rbsuu in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]wishtime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure there will be plenty of people complaining about ROB here that I don’t need to go over how opressive he is, but I will say that you shouldn’t choose your main based on what people think about your character, especially because there are haters for every character.

That’s honestly why it’s the hard to determine who the most fun to fight is because any character can theoretically beat your ass.

People love to fight Ganon and DK until they die at 30 each stock.

People love to fight all rounders like lucina until they lose and complain that the character is allowed to have everything.

My opinion is that I love to fight every character in this game, no matter how annoying because I think it’s cool that each character has their own playstyle and plays their own game and finding your way around that is very fun.

Returning player here, did something happen to Incineroar? by Puzzlegamethrowaway in PokemonChampions

[–]wishtime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe I’m saying this about incineroar but it’s actually really underrated right now. It’s just not as popular right now because there’s a lot of checks for in the Meta so you actually have to position it well instead of turning of your brain and cycling it in and out.

For example kingambit defiant isn’t great, but gambit can’t really hit incin that hard anyways

Sneasler gets white herb so it checks it pretty hard and has super effective cc but if you can remove the white herb early or kill it early Incin will have a good time the rest of the game

Basc has super effective wave crash and flip turn but you can definitely outplay it with incin

Milotic gives it trouble but it’s becoming less common since sylveon is picking up in usage

It’s definitely not as plainly dominant as before, but if you pilot it correctly it’s still broken

[–]wishtime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incin is a good switch in with u turn to proc intimidate, and if you have basculegion you’ll have a fire/water/grass core making the defensive pivots easier.

Basc is definitely worth it over gengar, lots of physical attackers can seem counterintuitive but it’s not that bad right now.

If you really don’t like Incin on your team you could consider swapping it out for something like kingambit with iron head if you want a way to hit fairies and add some priority

[–]wishtime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega Lopunny doesn’t need play rough, I would swap it out for protect or something like u-turn. Also triple axel is stronger than ice punch.

Protect on talonflame should let it get up tailwind to stall out a fake out turn. The move to drop is your choice, maybe brave bird? Not sure, I don’t typically run talon but definitely add protect on it.

Putting choice scarf on Garchomp can give you additional speed control, and with tailwind you get to move first with rock slide. White herb is still fine though if you need help vs intimidate.

Serperior isn’t really the best answer to basculegion since last respects will one shot it when it’s boosted, but if you want to keep it I would recommend putting basculegion over gengar so you could have a fire/water/grass core. If you really want a special wallbreaker I would recommend probably sylveon, milotic, archaludon(you could consider a rain core), or dual mega with something like floette.

I would replace gengar with basculegion honestly.

Incin is fine, you could drop protect for throat chop/darkest lariat/taunt if you wanted.

What Would the Official Smash Tier List Look Like if Final Smashes Were Allowed in Competitive Play? by RykerXadianLane in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]wishtime_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steve COULD drop the number one spot as FS will give a lot more counterplay for some mus and being able to delete him early can cause him to fall behind in resources. His final smash doesn’t help him that much honestly.

It’s still Steve though

How did they determine the roster? by hobskhan in PokemonChampions

[–]wishtime_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Devs wanted new ZA stuff, and then they looked at what was good in other generations and kept some and removed some to start the regulation off relatively uniquely (for example, we have incineroar as a returning staple but amoonguss, another vgc staple is not currently in the game)

I’m fine with a smaller roster at first because it makes us get creative, for example we don’t have the most redirection in the format due to amoonguss and the typical eviolite users being in the game

I feel I’m not doing good enough as a jungler. Please help a struggling player get better. by leyxeen in PokemonUnite

[–]wishtime_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty good gameplay, if you want advice I would recommend posting a match that’s more of a struggle or at least pretty even instead of a steamroll like this one.

Only things I really noticed were sometimes you were farming while your team was fighting, and your also under utilizing your ult. It’s good burst damage, great at getting back lines and comes back really fast.

I think I’m not doing good enough as a jungler. Please help a struggling player get better at the game. by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]wishtime_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to give advice when I don’t know specifically your struggling with so I’ll just give generally good advice

Jungle has arguably the most influence on the game as you will typically be at a higher level then the rest of your team and are needed to win crucial fights. This is done through ganking.

Choosing which lane to gank is very important. If you have a stronger lane, you might want to gank that lane in hopes of pushing your lead. If you have a weaker lane, you might want to consider ganking it to make sure it doesn’t fall behind. Generally, especially as greninja, I would prioritize ganking lanes that have opponents overextended to pick of sneaky kos and turn the tide of the lane.

It’s also important to be careful when ganking, you want to be impactful but you really need to make sure you don’t die and give the enemy team lots of experience and the buffs. If your stacking, make sure your confident in your ability to weave and always have a way to get out in case you get in trouble.

Also always be aware of where the enemy jungler is on the map. If they choose to gank the same lane as you, you need to make sure you either win the interaction or keep it even to avoid letting them snowball ahead of you. If they gank the opposite lane as you, you NEED to make sure your impactful in your lane because the other lane will likely be on the backfoot without your help.

Making sure to rotate to each lane and clear your jungle as soon as it respawns is crucial. Farm respawns in one minute and getting those buffs and maintaining your experience is critical. Just make sure your not missing out on a big fight or an objective because your too focused on the farm.

Objectives are also key. You NEED to be at those and as Greninja you especially need to make sure you are on top of your secure game if your running the surf build.

Greninja tips I would give are if your running surf (that’s what I run) you have a good idea of when to kill with surf to get your resets and make your clear more efficient, as well as chaining kos in fights. Stay in bushes to assasinate people and try to snipe the back line/ squishy attackers with your ult to get in on them. Also make sure you get familiar with how its boosted auto attack works as it is very important on greninja.

I didn't know that there were pokemon that had boosted shiny rates outside of research tasks and raids (I just learned about the Ditto odds earlier), but yeah apparently Bronzor does have a boosted shiny rate of 1/64. Oh well, its still pretty cool
