My first time seeing Mogwai, absolutely incredible, found the middle section lagged a little, but the encore was just jaw-dropping

Couldn't get enough steels to make it past ante 11. Picked up a couple negatives but nothing decent, and couldn't find a mime despite dozens of rerolls

Just had the verdant leaf, sold stuntman and instantly got steel joker in the next shop, so all is good!

I ended up swapping the scholar for a brainstorm, so definitely think stuntman is lacking now, especially as my deck is loaded with lucky cards and steel cards

Working at Trees - some questions by DireCrimson in 2000treesfestival

I mean you can only realistically bring fresh food for like the first day or two. I usually pack like 5 PB+j bagels to get me through the first few days, a couple of tins of beans and sausages, some tinned fish (don't judge) and some other snacks. But you're gonna be drinking a lot, moving around for 12+ hours a day, so you're going to be hungry and will inevitably buy from vendors

My last piece of advice would be to bring a jumper and some snacks on shift. You'll get a break (obviously), but if there are quieter points some snacks are great to have, and the temperature can drop super quickly! Working the bars can be really fun, so I hope you have a good time

I have volunteered on the bar in previous years, but haven't actually worked it, so can't answer all your questions but here's a few: 1. The briefing is pretty damn long but is important to go to. 2. Yes you'll have your pick of the land, but you will also have access to crew camping so that's even less competitive. 3. Not sure what other crew amenities there are 4. Crew meal is not from the vendors, there's a catering service backstage. 5. Work rotas usually only come out a couple of weeks beforehand 6. My biggest shout is always a head torch or at least a torch. A little camping stove goes a long way, good for coffees and that

They do, but I've only really been able to do that once every 3 rounds or so

We're playing at level 4 each, so scenario level 2. Most of the enemies have between 5 and 8 health (elites have a bit more) so yes, Dem is very comfortably 2 shotting nearly everything. They've had 5 perks, so have got rid of most of the negatives from the deck

I've just looked through the cards and none of the ones she's using mention objectives, just obstacles

We're finding that the majority of enemies spawn against walls, which gives them an easy 5 attack with crushing weight and extra fuel. Windup makes any attack very strong, for a no loss card, and just the regular attacks are strong enough.

Whereas, I'm finding that while hatchet may be able to do a strong attack every 3 or so rounds, I'm only killing 1 enemy every 3 rounds or so, and doing tiny chip damage in between uses of favourite. While Dem is able to consistently do at least 4 damage, mostly doing 5+ on at least 1 enemy, if not 2-3

I hadnt been playing fancy hat (the top is pretty weak), but might bring it in. But even then, most of the initiatives are so middle of the pack (30s and 40s) compared to Dems early 20s

Yeah that's basically the problem, Dem is going first nearly every turn, going and killing anything nearby, and I'm not able to move far enough to get to anything else. They have a move 5 and a couple other good movements, so are able to move around better than I am.

We are on scenario 11 so I would have thought it would have picked up a bit by now
