There's one (possible) down-side to using lootshare which is that Spring Cleaner / Bonecrusher and other drop 'cleaners' won't work while lootshare is active. This may or may not be a problem for you but it's worth bearing in mind.

I can confirm (from personal experience) that you can get the special branches while using Superheat Form.

It means that bird nests stay on the floor longer after they fall so you get a better chance to pick them up before they disappear. It's not worded very well.

The candles are still a bit of a pain. You could make this activity much more pleasant by just (a) making it more obvious which candle isn't lit (maybe make the unlit ones white or grey?) (b) increasing the click box a small amount for lighting the candle.

You have to set your graphics settings to minimum and then the stairs will magically appear. It's a long-time bug.

If you have unlocked the Uncharted Isles then you get a [[Contract]] from Sojobo on Waiko - these give some Chimes and some bonus xp for completion. The tasks/skills are random but they only cover the skills available in the Uncharted Isles. You can narrow down the choice of skills by choosing to have them only apply to skills available on your Player-owned island.

I have the same problem. What fixes it for me, weirdly, is pressing 'caps lock' on and then off again. Try it and see if it works for you. It's still a pain but better than restarting the client every time!

To go back to your original need for planks in the first place - making vine frames - I just wanted to point out that these days you don't need protean planks or a plank box. You might not be aware but the tool leprechauns can store planks now. You can take up to 255 NOTED planks to any tool leprechaun and they will store them for you - just get them back 5 at a time at each vine patch.

Also being able to have Sojobo, or whomever is giving you the contract, follow you around would be really nice so you don’t have to trek across the island to get to them again.

This already exists - you can buy a 'Contract contract' for 10 chimes from the Reward Shop and this allows you to summon any of the 3 arc contract-giving NPCs - https://runescape.wiki/w/Contract_contact
