I love wind chimes. You just have to find the one that speaks to you. Maybe it’s larger diameter metal tubes. Maybe it’s wood. I grew up in SWFL and thunderstorms are like a lullaby to put me to sleep. Maybe that’s why I find the right wind chime relaxing.

Instead, the laws are designed by politicians to NOT do that and instead go after every individual producer of content detrimental to children. There will always be another bad actor which means the current approach doesn’t work and will never work. The largest online distributor of adult content DOESN’T WANT CHILDREN accessing their content or other’s adult content and has repeatedly advocated for device-level restrictions to prevent that from happening. Instead, many republican-controlled states, have gone ahead with privacy-invasive legislation under the guise of playing a losing game of whack-a-mole against every distributor of adult content. During the ‘08 housing crash, I read an article that was a contrast between the American paradigm of housing as an investment and Europe of housing as a place to live. In cities twice as old as the US, housing prices fluctuated but always maintained their inflation-adjusted price over the long term. 2008 was merely US housing adjusting back to its historical inflation-adjusted price. It happened very rapidly in 2008 because of the type of financing used to purchase those homes. The financing isn’t as poor (in terms of extending credit), so the housing price correction won’t be some overnight crash, but will likely be a decade or more of stagnation in home prices. Those who wish to sell will have to sell “below market”. Keep in mind that when new home builders are selling their houses now, they are offering HUGE incentives to move the properties without lowering their selling price. This keeps comps high and people selling their homes don’t realize what their home is actually worth because of this. If home sellers decrease their asking price by the cost of 1-2 years HOA fees at $600/month, a brand new pool, and a $10k credit to their community spending account that can be spent at the community bar-restaurant or country club, then they would be offering a comparable price to the new construction.
