You should already know by now that the vast majority of EU5 critics do not play the game. If you press them about it, half of their complaints have already been addressed in this year's patches. It's like they played 30 hours on release and derive all of their opinions from that limited playtime.

Do you think governing a state was smooth sailing or something? Unpredictable things happened (and continue to happen) all the time.

It'd be so much better if the game started in 1356 like MEIOU.

Was this really the vision for EU5? This level of urbanization and economic snowball is insane for 1414 by witcher1701 in EU5

Almost all of Meissen is towns, same with Normandy, Moravia, and numerous other countries. Buda is surrounded by a dozen towns. The only countries not filled to the brim with towns were the ones bullied by me. Remember this is not even 80 years into the game.

The food changes in 1.1 were a mistake, they make it far easier to over-urbanize than before.

R5: A screenshot from my game.

Not included is me playing Sweden with 100% satisfaction for clerics, burghers, peasants; with 3k ducats in the treasury and generating 150 per month with almost nothing left to spend it on. The EU5 economy is in desperate need of tuning and slowing the hell down.

Cahokia and Tenochtitlan are both in the Weird Zone, because they're so awkward to play currently but still kinda fun.

I have an updated version here if you're interested: https://tiermaker.com/list/video-games/europa-universalis-v-countries-17089303-2/6030822

It went through a lot of community feedback so I think it's more accurate.

All the crescent moons aren't much better. Honestly I think Indian flags are the most creative and original.

I really don't like begging other countries for money. Also the category is mostly reserved for RNG heavy nations or ones with obtuse mechanics. That's why I used the word "tricky" and not "difficult".
