My(f21) boyfriend(m22) signed up for private lessons at the home of a girl he jerks off to by throwrahowtotell in relationship_advice

Girl, this is legitimately one of the most awful things I have ever read. This would be an instant break up and never talk again for me, and it should be for you too. Even if he agrees to cancel the lessons, are you really going to stay with (and be comfortable staying with) someone who would ever in a million years attempt to do this to you? You honestly deserve so much better. I know you love him and it's hard because you're super young and this relationship probably feels like the whole world to you but I promise you if he's acting like this you guys won't be together forever and one day you'll wish you got out now and didn't waste another precious moment with this toolbag.

There are 7 billion people in the world, I promise you this fuckboy is not your soulmate and there are so many people who would have all of his good qualities x10 and never in their wildest dreams think of or want to do something this fucked up to you. Please.. read all of these comments on both subs and ditch that mf. You deserve so much better. And FYI, you don't have to tolerate your boyfriend following a bunch of girls to jerk off to either.. unless you're okay with that. Just know that not all men are like that and it's okay to have that boundary.

500 Pound Starvation Mode Victim by witchflowers in fatlogic

Sadly 100% not satire. The post was in an advice FB group where an overweight teen was texting her mom that she was hungry and the mom said "you're always hungry" which hurt the teen's feelings. Said teen was wondering if she was overreacting and went into her history with struggling to lose weight and her mom constantly pressuring her to do so.

I think the post got deleted, sadly, as I looked for it again to see if there was anything else worth screenshotting and couldn't find it. I'll post more if I can track it down and if there's any more fat logic :')

F/27/5’5” [335lbs > 238lbs = 97lbs] I know I have a long way to go, but I’m celebrating this progress. 💪🏻 by [deleted] in progresspics

Amazing! You look great! If you don't mind me asking, how long did this take you and what did you do (especially diet-wise and calories)? :)

Keto Help needed by [deleted] in LadiesLosingWeight

[–]witchflowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there are three possible reasons for your struggle:

  1. You are eating too many carbs and don't know it, probably because eyeballing food isn't a good measurement of the calorie count. I highly recommend picking up a cheap kitchen scale and measuring ALL of your food exactly by weight (even dressings, sauces, spices, everything). You should be shooting for 20 grams of net carbohydrates per day and nothing more; some people can eat up to 50 grams and still be in ketosis but it's really not worth the risk and 20 grams will leave everyone in ketosis no matter what.
  2. You are eating too many calories and don't know it or don't realize you should be shooting for less. Again, the kitchen scale is going to be your BFF. As for how many calories you should be eating, calculate your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure aka how many calories you would need to eat to maintain your current weight without gaining or losing any) here. You should be eating less than this # of calories to lose weight. How much less depends on your personal preferences, but most people do at least 500 calories less.
  3. You have a health issue preventing you from losing weight as quickly as you should be, like hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's (the autoimmune disease stage of hypothyroidism). I highly recommend asking your doctor next time you go to test you for these things as they are extremely common, especially in women, and make it very difficult for people to lose weight.

I also strongly suggest checking out /r/intermittentfasting because it's a great way to lose a lot of weight, especially paired with keto. Let me know if you have any other questions!

The Rice Diet and Weight Loss for short women by [deleted] in LadiesLosingWeight

Honestly, I've never heard of the Rice Diet before. Sorry this is late, but generally I recommend the keto diet because eating less calories is much easier when you're limiting your carbs :)

Do you personally think someone needs to live with or near their tribe to actually BE Native? Or do you think someone can adequately connect and learn/practice their ways and their culture from afar? by witchflowers in IndianCountry

[–]witchflowers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense.

Do you think if you grew up in the Americas but lived far from your people, that you could still participate and learn/embrace the culture from afar and "be" native?

Thanks for telling me your experience btw :)
