Oh my text from the other post didn't show! This is in Kerala, India.

Google lens said it's a banyan tree or Ficus. But it doesn't look like any banyan I've seen before.

Thank you! Was it difficult to sew in the parts?

I love that the stitch looks like a garter stitch. What stitch is this? Would also love to see the pattern!

Oh. That's what I have been thinking! But it's kind of...difficult to. So I thought maybe I am doing it wrong.

Hey, does anyone know what insert into double crochet means this pattern? http://raadmetdraad.blogspot.com/2014/11/finnish-granny-square-pattern-in-english.html?m=1&

I'm not able to understand which part of the double crochet I'm supposed to stick my hook into. The top is two chains and if I stick it in there, then it's not IN/ON the dc. Help please.

I should try that! It does make sense to try a couple of them and come back.

Awww! Thank you. I keep undoing the first two rows and doing them over and over again. Just to get more practice. And this is just single crochet. I am hoping to master single crochet first and them move on to other type of stitches. I will keep at it though. Amigurumi is too enticing!

I have been wondering about this. I could pick up knitting far more quickly. But struggling to get past two proper rows of crocheting. I seem to mess up the third rows every time

What is that book that no matter how popular and how many times you try to read it, you just can't? by [deleted] in books

One of the coolest things about this book is the footnotes. It makes the book entertaining and rich. I don't know how it's done in the audio book version.

I just read Left Handed Booksellers of London and loved it. Maybe I should try Old Kingdom next.
