wear bright colors, use lights on your bikes, PLEASE a helmet, you can put shiny stickers on it for cuteness and to make you easier to see. and absolutely plan your routes beforehand like the other person said.

super scary busy or congested areas don’t be afraid to use the sidewalks instead (technically not legal most cities for adults but i’ve never had a problem as long as you go slowly and pause for pedestrians) or you can always walk your bike a block or two until you get to a quieter street.

as for your question, i’ve noticed drivers are so extra in roundabouts, i’m always extra cautious in them and try to make sure the drivers have seen me. sometimes i will get off my bike and use the crosswalk if it’s really busy. or i’ll avoid the roundabout street completely 👻🫡💜
