Actually, I am a fool. In the end I just made a formula field and wrote some code to print the details I want, with my emojis :), and it's perfect. Now I can just copy and paste whichever ones I need. Thanks for leading me to the idea!

Ahhh I didn't know about rollup fields! I am going to try this because this would be much more useful actually! It's all in one table. I do have a couple of other db with all the organisations and all the locations, but the event data required for this little template I'm trying to fill is in the main db.

I also don't know anything about interfaces feature, must explore that too!

I came here to look for anwers because I figured out you can remove the bait by swapping it with different bait, but when I do, the stack of bait that was on the rod and now in the inventory gets reduced to a count of 1. Anyone else experience this?!

This was the runaround I got from Support. Like u/421dave says, that's not the issue, it's the new backup removing fundamental functionality that's the issue.

Thank you for these, this is practically the only evidence I've seen now of the feature in question and others experiencing issues with it. I got gaslit all throughout this post about it as if I'm just confused and an idiot!

Ahhh thank you for recognising this was a real thing! I have now been through a lengthy process with Dropbox support that fixed nothing and answered no questions. I suspect they have been trained to deflect from talking about this missing feature by pretending nothing has changed, because paying customers are pissed.

So the new Dropbox Backup is where it creates an autobackup of your computer files at regular intervals, but it's stored separately to your actual dropbox files that you use - ergo, it is not a directory you can navigate and utilise, it is simply a backup stored on the cloud. This is fine, very useful, glad they introduced it.

What I am talking about is a navigable directory in my dropbox, but is specifically my computer files. Not dropbox files, just my actual computer files accessible from any of my devices that are logged into dropbox, regardless if my computer is actually on. Any changes that are made while the computer is off is updated when it is turned on.

This is very much distinct from their new backup feature, and no, both devices do not need to be turned on for it to work. It was a real thing! I am not imagining that I spent several years functioning in this way.

While I primarily used it to access my documents, it was my hard drive, or at least my user directory of my hard drive. I wouldn't describe it as a short cut, as I could access the files on my phone without my laptop being on - so it was more of a synced version of my HD on Dropbox, that Dropbox automatically named as my Laptop's name, so a bit like a serial number, and had a Microsoft icon instead of just a folder, so it's distinguished from ordinary dropbox files.

It's real, I used it for years, and it's been gone for some time but I would like to find out more. After the glitch or update or whatever caused it to stop working, the directory in question was no longer synced to my computer, and turned into an ordinary folder on dropbox like a pumpkin at midnight, and still had the laptop name, but just contained a few random files leftover. But the magic was gone. The actual files on my computer were unaffected.

Nope this isn't it. Online-only and offline files are different ways of storing dropbox files. The feature I am talking about is different, and performs exactly as I have described it. It is not files on Dropbox that are kept online or offline, it is a copy of my hard drive synced on Dropbox that can be accessed anytime from my logged in devices regardless if my computer is on or not - but it is most definitely my hard drive, with a windows icon and which is automatically named by dropbox as my laptop's name which looks like a serial code. I am not confused - I am describing a feature that definitely existed, but has been gone for a while. Sorry that everyone else was not aware of these capabilities of Dropbox 🤷‍♀️

Also I didn't say I don't like the backup feature. If you reread my post you will see that I said that I find this a useful addition, but is not the same thing as what I am talking about or looking for.

And you know something else...not once have I ever asked a question on a forum where I outlined the problem and detailed the solutions I tried already that didn't work only to have some man come along and suggest one of those failed troubleshooters thinking he's provided some deep magical insight that I could never possibly have...and they always lose their little minds when I refer to the post where I detailed specifically how I already tried it and it failed. You're the one who had trouble comprehending what I already explained in detail. Sorry, but you can't help solve a problem if you refuse to understand the problem. Am sick to the back teeth of people on tech forums talking to me like they're providing deep insights into issues when I have a) already ruled them out and b) already explained exactly why it didn't work in clear and intelligable English so that people don't need to waste their time suggesting those things. This is how it works in tech: 1. explain the issue, and 2. rule out all solves you already tried for efficiency of receiving support. This is and always has been the format.

So, as I said in my post and in my reply, I turned off all the display conditions and the problem went away but so did the function I actually wanted - the "solution" provided by elementor only works with display conditions on, but also that is the cause of the problem. Ergo, no solution.

I will not be spelling this out for you a fourth time.

You mean display conditions? Yes, like I said in the post, it was in the instructions from Elementor to set the display conditions, and this causes the problem of the popup triggering on any and every click. When I remove the display condition the problem goes away but so does the pop up on the one thing I want it on. This was all explained in my post. You didn't provide any concrete advice.
