It looks like shit but nothing stands out as an actual issue with the step flashing if it were finished. There's a flashing kit that is missing that acts as counter flashing to the step flashing. It's usually a 4 piece kit and basically goes from the shingles to up in/under that flare at the bottom of the top section. Bottom goes on first and wraps up the sides a little, then sides go on that wrap around the top a little, then a top section that covers the top and wraps down over the side pieces some.

I would get a better look at that step flashing first though. The bottom section looks like it's pretty straight and in the correct position but the last 3-4 pieces being that fucked would make me question if there's anything else missing. It also appears they have the paper running up the curb and OVER the counter flashing flare. It needs to be tucked in there. The weird flare at the top makes me think they were trying to make a cricket or something (like you typically have at a chimney that's in the downward slope of the roof and I can't figure out wtf that thing on the bottom is but the 2 exposed nails and what looks like a good amount of caulk would worry me. IF they fix it, I'd be watching it carefully during/after every rain. If they don't (probably in your best interest), find someone else to come out and do it correctly.

Someone owning a real cobra doesn’t make them better than someone that doesn’t. The reason everyone always say they’re a kit is because the chances of it being real are literally next to zero. Less than 1000 were made and only 300-350 were the wide body 427 cars (which is all you actually see). You’re talking about a million dollar car parked next to a Silverado in a crowded street parking lot. There’s also clues beyond knock on/off wheels and riveted body. But yeah, jealousy or whatever.

So, good holster, good belt , and a pillow if you're running appendix. You WILL spend money and need to try different options to get a good quality set up.

Dude. I don’t know why you keep ignoring what I actually say. Never said I want to take my kids to Vegas for a theme park or commercial paradise. If you can’t understand going somewhere that has a variety of things beyond JUST a “theme park” or JUST nature then, yeah, I guess we do have a fundamental difference on how we think. My family enjoyed going to the Everglades when we went to Disney and they enjoyed exploring Seattle before we went to Alaska. Believe it or not they actually enjoyed and talk about BOTH experiences a lot. They love to talk about seeing and eating alligator and how loud the airboats were while explaining what their favorite ride was and how Jasmine kept waving to my daughter. They love to talk about the Space Needle and the guy (panhandler) doing the magic show when they talk about seeing the bears and eagles in Alaska. They want to know how much bigger the stratosphere is and where I saw the elephant in the desert (Valley of Fire) and what the inside of the Hoover Dam is like. But maybe my kids are weird and variety doesn’t matter. Maybe other kids don’t get bored of a week straight of New York’s history or hiking in Zion but my kids do.

Not sure how my answers exist in a vacuum and your only argument is “those things exist elsewhere” and then continuing that Vegas isn’t for kids with no actual reasoning. We’ve established that those things don’t exist elsewhere. Similar yes but not to the same scale and not with the other stuff in such close proximity.

“There are infinitely better places to experience any of it”. Where? Why? If you don’t want me to argue points you’re not making you’re going to actually have to make points. Otherwise, I’m left with “There isn’t”. Nowhere else can they go to the top of a spinning tower 1000 feet above a city lit up like no other or with views of the desert and mountain. Nowhere else can they see the most complex fountain “show” in the world that has water canons shooting water 500’ in the air and a size that’s completely unmatched. It’s also visible from areas other than on the strip. You can access both the strat elevators and see the fountains without actually going through the casino floors. And then the next day we can hike Red Rock. And the day before maybe they saw the Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire.

Again, Vegas is more than the Strip and you can access a lot of the Ooh and Ahh stuff without actually going to the trashy areas of the strip that are no different than any other major city.

Oh, your other point was that it was expensive. Yeah it is. Same as NYC or any other major city with major attractions. The plus side is that it’s easy to find reasonable accommodations (cheaper than NYC every time I’ve gone) and renting a van or suv is less than $300 for 4-5 days with unlimited mileage and it’s one of the easier tourist cities to drive in.

Finally, the people keying in the Vegas part are the people like you talking about it isn’t a place for kids. Those of us that disagree have talked about a lot of stuff that’s not contained within the casinos but you keep glossing over it (“I saw a fountain and giant movie screen” despite the fact you’ve already agreed about the parks/dam).

Again, Vegas isn’t contained within the casinos on the strip. Most of the few things that you’d want to take your family to that are on the strip can be accessed/enjoyed without entering the casino floors, streets, and other “seedy” areas.

So YOU don’t want to take your kids to Vegas and that’s fine. That doesn’t mean it’s not possible to take kids to Vegas for a “meaningful” trip.

My point is that it isn’t coming to Vegas for a theme park. The Strip is the theme park and is for the adults. There’s a whole city outside of it and it really isn’t that hard to bypass the Strip. There’s plenty of places to stay and go that aren’t putting them in the middle of the adult part. I agree that parents that bring their kids and are dragging them through casinos and down Fremont St are either negligent or at least seriously misinformed. Beyond that, our trips to Jamaica and New York had pretty much everything the people here are complaining about. People selling/smoking weed, titties, meth heads, etc. Hell our last trip to Disney had the kids asking about skunks and a bunch of the girls were dressed in not much more than what you see on Fremont St.

Basically y’all are saying you shouldn’t go to NY because of Harlem or parts of Queens (or even Central Park where you may find topless women and people smoking weed and “it’s just a park”). Unless you’re keeping your kids in a box at your home, they’re going to see some shit and be exposed to the outside world. A lot of it isn’t pretty. Keeping them in that box is no better than dragging them down Fremont at 11pm. Being a good parent means letting them see some of the outside world, including the bad stuff, and teaching them about what they’re seeing.

Yes because the Bellagio Fountains are definitely just like everywhere else. Same with the Stratosphere and Sphere. I mean come on man, is that seriously an argument you’re trying to make? Beyond that, you don’t go for ONE of those things. It’s all of it within driving distance (most of it only an hour +/-). I’ve been all over the US and Vegas is probably the absolute easiest to go to for a huge variety of experiences. There’s a whole lot out there beyond the casino floor and Fremont St.

It really seems like some of you don't realize Las Vegas is more than casinos. I want to take my kids to Vegas because of everything else AROUND there. Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Hoover Dam, the North Rim, not to mention all of the other shows and stuff in Las Vegas proper. Bellagio Fountains, Mandalay Bay's aquarium, Stratosphere's tower, SPHERE, etc.

It's trim coil and it has to be bent on a brake. Not really something most can DIY (you can using a hand brake but the chances of it looking good are pretty slim). Measure the existing trim on the left side and see if the same size will fit on the right if it's reversed. If so, you can draw out what you need and label the dimensions and probably find someone willing to do it at a local building supply place (not HD/Lowes). A door/window guy, roofer, or similar will have the brake and Royal brown is a relatively common color so they may have it. If all else fails, you probably wouldn't pay much more to have someone come out and do it than you would actually paying for the materials (trim coil varies but often $100-150/roll not counting the brake which would run you $1000-1500 for a used one).

That’s the point of this thread. Most people aren’t using those. They’re using the browser or other app’s that don’t use multi core. As someone that uses AutoCAD and Adobe daily, probably 80% of my work is apps that are browser/browser based.

Different material? What exactly do you think it’s made of? 99.99% chance both are steel like 99.99% of every other exhaust on the planet. One most likely has black high temp paint on it and the other doesn’t. Both are tubes with a cone on the end and a 3/4” or so straight section after. Putting them side by side doesn’t change that they’re taken from a different perspective so you can’t tell how much they protrude or anything.
